First day back at preschool! Can’t you tell how stoked he was in this photo? 🤣 He’s been asking about when he’s going back for weeks! ♥️ He walked right in to his classroom today and was happy to see his teachers whom he quite missed over the summer. He was a little disappointed it was a short class since they had to do a staggered entry for the first day but he sure is looking forward to many, many days of preschool, he said. First day of First Grade! Holding hands, we walked Luci to her Grade 1-2 school doors today ( together with Carlos’ too!). She was a little nervous at first but walked straight through the doors with her new Grade 1-2 crew. She was happy to see some of her friends from last year and she made new friends in her split class, too. She was most excited to see her kindergarten teachers and shared to them how she lost her first baby tooth over the weekend. Her first comment when Zach picked her up was: “We had to sit at a desk all day.” 🤣 Overall, she had a really good first day! He was nervous but he conquered his first day of preschool last week! Due to his accident, he started a couple of months late and finally the big day came. 🙂 when he walked in that room, he was confident of full of enthusiasm. He did so great and loved it there! Carlos’ cast has been off for 3 weeks now. It felt like the longest 6 weeks when he had it on. There were still lots of good days and long nights in between but this kid has been strong, positive and resilient through this tough time. The cast didn’t stop his unwavering and happy spirit ❤️ ____________________ So many thanks to our family and friends for the love and help (you know who you are! ) It has been quite a journey and we couldn’t have made it through without you! 🤍____________________Carlos is recovering amazingly in the past 3 weeks. Driving to school on her first day as a kindergartener #luciannaksye asks me: L: “Mom, why did the m&m go to school?” Me: “Why?” L: “Because he wants to be a SMARTIE” 😂 Got us 4 laughing in the car. Today, she admitted she was pretty nervous, but she took a deep breathe right before she walked right through the doors of her new school.
