I-Manifestval Street and Laneway Party. Full Throttle Entertainment sponsored the event to help raise money for Sydney's creative youth.
Thursday April 18, Full Throttle Entertainment (FTE) put down the glamour and glitz of the high-end nightclub scene to support I-Manifest, Sydney’s newest not-for-profit for creative youth.

A stellar all female DJ lineup from Australia’s leading agencies in electronic music included Ariane Hall (Modular), Kali (Picnic Touring and Events), Gabby (Finely Tuned), R.I.A (N.Z) and Ray Ray, who found their DJ booth home in the Geodisc Project, the latest installation by new wave creative agency, Astral Projekt (Vivid 2013).
Full Throttle Entertainment proudly supported the event at with a Funktion One sound system and full sound set up extending across 2 rooms.
“It’s awesome to be part of a collective of people who are getting behind Sydney’s youth, supporting talent and fostering opportunities; all for a better creative future in Australia. It was a pleasure to provide sound!” FTE Director, Adam Ward

Attention Australian DJ Management & Entertainment Companies - Boost Your 2013 Reputation with A World Class Brand
As we roll into 2013, Full Throttle Entertainment wants to grant premiere Australian DJ Management and Entertainment agencies access to an exclusive line of Funktion One systems; primed to profoundly boost your quality, innovation, and reputation.
Full Throttle are Australia’s leading production company and provider of premium UK audio brand Funktion One. Full Throttle offers a new level of excellence within Australian Entertainment. Bad sound quality, complaining artists, disappointed fans, and empty venues are a thing of the past.
A recent Beatport poll showed that out of America’s 10 best entertainment set-ups, 5 have Funktion One sound systems.
Funktion One design methods reach an intelligence paralleled by no other audio brand. Unsurprisingly then, it is renowned amongst prominent events, venues, DJs, and artists - for its production of massive, high-impact, powerful sound that is also open, clear, organic, distortion-free, and easy on the ears. Whilst other systems use a metallic compression driver, Funktion One systems use a cone frequency band made out of paper to produce a speed of sound closer to what is in air. Funktion One’s remarkable conversion of electrical into acoustic energy provides a clean, efficient, and effortless production.
Full Throttle celebrates 22 years of entertainment excellence across America and now Australia, touring with legends like Tony Bennett and Frankie Valli and working with Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Sander Van Doorn, Eric Morillo, Sasha, Armin Van Buuren, Prince, Seal, and Jason Derulo amongst others. They have worked at various premiere venues; Cherry Las Vegas, Vanguard and Full Moon Party Los Angeles, and most recently Marquee Sydney.
Full Throttle seeks to bring quality sound to Australian Entertainment by granting salient companies access to its services. Full Throttle specialises in Funktion One design, production, install, maintenance, and rental. They provide turnkey technical services, nightclub design, event production, and tour management.
There are many ingredients to a successful DJ Management or Entertainment company, and high quality audio systems and production play a key role. Do not underestimate the power of a quality audio brand in the choices of artists, venues, events, and music fans. Please contact to us to strongly elevate the reputation of your agency and Australian Entertainment beyond, by the company that understands the industry best. It's 2013, not 2000... We have many tools at our grasp; it's time to take hold of them with full throttle!
HearNoEvil // Full Throttle works with prestigious companies that strive for brilliance, to motion their enduring success. It is a company who prides itself on delivering customer needs, exceeding expectations, and producing excellence.
Funktion One at Glastonbury Festival 2007
Muso Article by Greg Phillips
Full Throttle Entertainment Director Adam Ward has toured with legends such as Tony Bennett and Frankie Valli and experienced everything in the sound game from production management to tour management to front of house engineering and PA design. He worked in America for 14 years in both LA and Vegas. He knows PA and has seen the DJ market grow extensively worldwide. Ward specialises in the design of sound systems for venues, but how does one design a PA system? "You'll get a client come to you and they will have an idea," explained Ward. "Are they doing rock bands or DJs? What's the space mean to do?" Once you get the design brief, you sit down and look at the space, work with architects and come up with what is best suited to the space."
We specialise in hi-end DJs like Tiesto and Armand Van Buuren people like that. We specialise in clubs that they would play in. With a lot of the Vegas clubs, money is no option, they would come in and say we don't care what it costs just build it. We really got to push the envelope.
For someone used to the magnitude of the Euro dance festivals and the elaborate clubs there and in America, Adam is disappointed that Australian club owners haven't approached their venues with the same adventurous spirit as their overseas counterparts. "Sound systems are such an auditory and visceral experience. It really needs to be where you spend a lot of your money, most of them here don't realise that," said Adam. Good sound creates an environment that is comfortable and an environment that you want to be in. If the sound system is painful, too loud or horrible sounding you will actually drive people out of your venue and this obviously effects your bottom line. This is obvious yet many club owners simply just don't get it."
Full Throttle works closely with the Australian distributor of Funktion One sound systems, which Ward believes are currently the best in the world. "There are a lot of clubs in Ibiza using Funktion One which is the club Mecca. There area lot of clubs in Vegas, New York, and Miami that are sporting Funktion One. They are the epitome night club system. Funktion One really owns the electronic music market. Beatport just did a vote of the ten best sound systems in America and I think five out of the ten have Funktion One systems." Ward has seen a lot in the club world. One of his most memorable experiences was working a club in Vegas when Prince called up and decided he'd like to play a weekend of intimate shows. The venue was also booked for Tiesto, who at the time was the number one DJ in the world. Prince was contracted to finish at a certain time to allow for PA swap over for Tiesto. prince decided on his second night to play two hour over time, leaving a 3,000 strong Tiesto crowd waiting outside. "they were seething and ready to burst out of their skin. This wave of energy came over the venue as these kids rolled in. The DJ dropped the first track and the place went instantly into mayhem. It didn't finish until about 11 o'clock the next day." With his company and the Funktion One brand, Adam Ward is on a mission. "I believe in sound. It is a passion for me not just a job. What I want to do with Sydney and Australia is introduce people to that really high end audio that I experienced overseas and show people what you can do with sound."
AGWA 014 Nov 2012
It’s ten minutes until boarding time and The Starship Sydney is already pounding with bass, gravely arousing an eager line of party hopefuls. The excitement is contagious, as many punters literally race through the doors and throw themselves onto the dance floor. The ear-to-ear grins and unstoppable feet stomping that begins at 2pm continues right past closing time, making us pray the AGWA party will never end!
Basking in the sun, the Funktion One sound systems by Full Throttle Entertainment are strategically placed around the deck. As International guests Subb-ann and Miguell Campbell summon the waters, the crowd is surrounded by a constant wave of electrifying sound. The DJs keep the energy high, and often get lost in a crowd of waving hands and stage dancers! The energy on ground level grew larger and larger until many were climbing on top of shoulders. There was a real festival vibe. The tunes got heavier and more vigorous as the night went on and local talents drove the fire home in true style. Middle level remained quiet as everyone fled to the music.
Credit to Full Throttle, whose design and production permitted enjoyable dance floors on both levels. Many embraced the ability to dance right next to the speakers saying, “It’s so loud, but it doesn’t even hurt my ears!”.
AGWA Yacht Club, Full Throttle Entertainment, The Starship Sydney, and DJs Subb-ann, Miguell Campbell, Brohn, Coop, Sam Roberts, Le Brouts, and T-Boy worked hard together to bring another unforgettable high quality event to Sydney. I am sure many are looking forward to boarding the next one.
“I am a Trance DJ, and it absolutely kills me to come to an event of this caliber where they actually care about the sound. Everyone here loves music! You have three levels of people who are here for one reason - to listen to amazing tunes. You guys put it on, and you absolutely nailed it, straight up!”
Adriano Giorgi talks to Full Throttle Entertainment at AGWA 014.
What happens when you throw an army of party hopefuls, bass heavy DJs, and Funktion One loudspeakers on a boat in the middle of Sydney Harbour?
Take a look right here...
AGWA 014 was unforgettable.
