Betrayal isn't always from the GM

I was GM-ing a 1 on 1 campaign with a close friend of mine. It was an “alternate wild west with magic” type deal. And we had just finished doing months and months of roleplay, with the player making a good sized party of NPCs. The goal was to send the PC back to her own time zone. The following ensues:

GM: you look into the open portal, seeing your homeland. You see your companions smiling sadly, (semi-love interest) is openly crying. (Best friend) says “well, it’s been a hell of a trip. Glad you finally got to make it home. Is there anything else you want to say?”

PC(ooc): Yeah I want to use my close combat and multi-target efficiencies to headshot them

GM: YOU WANT TO FUCKING WHAT

All I remember about yugioh gx is an episode where for lunch the school like... just tossed a bunch of covered sandwiches in a bargain bin and you never knew what you'd get. And they were all bad except for one? But the 'one' kept disappearing and no one knew why. It was then revealed a student from like ten years ago was living in the forest all Tarzan style, training his luck and grabbing the good sandwich every day. Then the main character beat him up or something

my favorite thing about yugioh gx is that when you summarize it, it sounds like you’re misremembering things or exaggerating for comedic effect but no that is straight up what happens
