If you’re an American yoi fan, you’ve probably heard that they will be marathoning all the episodes of the anime in American cinemas in the near future and I just wanted to say: if you can afford it and if it is being screened in a theater near you, please go.

This will likely be a test of yoi’s popularity, and a way for the NA licensors to decide if the yoi movie - Ice Adolescence, will be worth screening. This will be an opportunity to show the power of the yoi fandom and how badly we want the movie in cinemas ASAP, and as we know, all that matters here is money - if they can profit from it, they’ll do all they can to bring NA fans Ice Adolescence, but it’ll likely depend on the results of this marathon.

Obviously, this is just for NA fans and the fans from the rest of the world remain a question mark, but don’t miss this opportunity if you’re an American yoi fan because this might just be the thing that tips the scales in everyone’s favor.

Seriously, this plus the streaming of the YOI concert are both gonna be used as gauges of where audiences are and whether it will be viable for them to license the movie in NA/other regions.

I’ve seen people saying, “I won’t go if it’s a dub” but every lost ticket sale from people who are able to go means one less tally toward the movie release.
