Jayce was in the middle of reading, blinking when he felt his chin being tilted upwards. "Oh uh, hey V." He gave a lopsided grin.

Machine Herald stood, towering over Jayce. One of his gloved hands had found solace in his steady fingers gripping the underside of Jayce's jaw. He tugged upwards, turning his head so they could face each other. He silently leaned down ever so slightly, staring behind the blank expression of his mask. "Hello, defender..." His words crackled through the voice changer of his mask. A grumble left his mouth, indistinguishable in tone or emotion.

This definitely seemed a bit more on the normal side of things, but off at the same time. "Did you need something or... Did I forget something? I don't think we had dinner or anything scheduled for today." Jayce murmured, staring up at the other.

"Just... Looking..." He spoke slowly, keeping his sights locked on Jayce. He leaned down even more, as if he were studying him, paying such close attention for no apparent reason. He hummed noncommittally, it crackled and clicked electronically.
