Legit I need to start getting on my blogs again. My son is four months old now and my PPD/PPA is starting to pass. This child is huge; he’s already practically sitting up and ready for solids according to the pediatrician! He’s also pretty damn cute if I do say so myself.

Hey, how many relationships do you think would each fundie go through if they were allowed to date normally? Just say an approximate number for each of the married Duggars/Bates.

I’m only going to do the adult Duggars. Duggars interest me more than the Bateses and coming up with twenty hypothetical relationship histories is exhausting.

Josh - He’s been married like three times. His status lures girls in but then they realize he’s a complete douche and a nasty divorce follows.

Jana - About two relationships. She focuses more on herself than on finding someone but every few years she tries something new.

JD - Once again, about two relationships. He found a girl when he was younger but they broke it off amicably and now he’s in his second relationship.

Jill - She’s gone through about four-six boyfriends and is currently married. She’s really clingy and crushes easily. 

Jessa - She had two boyfriends in high school and then found her husband in her early twenties. Her first relationship was when she was like fourteen and lasted six months. Her second relationship was in her junior year of high school and they broke up shortly after graduation.

Jinger - I really don’t know about her. I’d say she’s currently on her fourth boyfriend. She definitely has a Tinder profile.

Joe - He had one LTR in high school but she broke it off. He was completely heartbroken for a while afterwards. He hasn’t yet found someone new.

Josiah - He had one girlfriend when he was like a sophomore in high school but they didn’t last very long. There is a 40% chance he’s been on Grindr before.

Joy - She had a boyfriend for less than a year. Other than that, romance isn’t necessarily in the forefront of her brain. She gets annoyed when people pester her about her relationship status.

Jedidiah - He had one girlfriend for a few years in high school.

Jeremiah - He’s currently with his second girlfriend. They were high school sweethearts.

Jason - He has had one girlfriend. They may or may not still be together.

Heey Guys!

So sorry I’ve been slacking on here. I was induced last Tuesday and my son and I had some complications that nearly sent us both up to the good Lord’s kingdom but thankfully we are here and we are healthy. Mama had to have an emergency c-section though. I’m not in as much pain, but the recovery is brutal. My son was huge, 8lb 8oz 20 ¼" and 15in head do c-section would have been inevitable. But he’s a miracle. He came out with his umbilical cord not only around his neck but tied in a knot as well. Most babies with “true knot” are stillborn so we are incredibly lucky to have our precious little man.

as a very pregnant woman, can I just vent for a sec here??

if you’re already a mom… the last thing a pregnant friend probably wants to hear is how tired she’s going to be, how hard it is to lose the baby weight, how terrible your labor or recovery went. Why do people say things like that to new moms? “Oh enjoy it now, just wait till your kid is born.” as if I have some idealic expectations of a perfect angel baby or as if their warnings are helpful???????? Yeah I know i’m not gonna get a lot of sleep but maybe you shouldn’t try to make parenthood sound like the worst thing in the world. How about you encourage me or offer support for those long nights and the road ahead???

Newborns are hard work, but I don’t even have the words in my vocabulary to describe the amount of overwhelming love and protection you will feel for this little tiny human being. Sleepless nights, dirty diapers, and crying are such a small price to pay for such a precious gift. ❤️

Most definitely. Especially when you end up with a scary situation that results in a miracle. I've been open about my traumatic labor just a week ago BUT that is to raise awareness about what happened to me and to save someone being as scared as I was because it was something I had never heard of before. Even poppy diapers don't bother me because my little love could have not been here and neither could I.

@discussingtheduggarfam I'm laughing so hard about the sex thing. I'm literally 8 days overdue (today 05/27/18; set for induction 05/29/18) & that's been the most recommended thing. I tried walking, jalapeño poppers (which sucked bc baby hates jalapeños) dancing, squats and I'm not trying sex haha so I don't blame you. Supposedly there's a dance on YouTube that works but I didn't do it because it was too many steps for me lol my baby is also posterior (face up) though so that might be why I haven't gone into labor naturally.

apparently not by your reactions SO let’s talk about emily 

emily was catholic and found it really, really important that you knew that

she was discrete for the most part (sign of the cross before meals and blushing when the lord’s name was said in vain sorts of things) but she had a habit of berating people for politely declining her invitations to her church services and was sort of a pain in the ass about it at times but that’s beside the point 

we were friends for about two and a half years

and then she borrowed a pair of my jeans.

now these jeans 

were not just any pair of jeans 

they were lucky brand jeans and the nicest jeans I owned at the time, but I was always cool with letting people borrow things when they really needed them 

so this fateful day rolls around and emily is freaking out because she tore her skirt (as in straight up the back, mortifyingly torn) while we were out for coffee waiting for her other friend to pick her up because she was going on a weekend trip with this other friend’s (even more religious) family and her only other option was a pair of starchy pants that would absolutely suck to sit comfortably in for a five hour drive

so I do what any good friend would do and give her the extra pair of jeans I have in my car

which are my luckys

now I didn’t think anything of it and just assumed I’d done a great service here right 

but flash forward three days 

and she comes back 

and doesn’t say 

anything 

just hands me the jeans 

pivots 

and walks away 

so naturally I’m like??????????

so she proceeds to send me a text the next day saying that I made her look horrible to her friend’s mom because she nicely offered to wash the jeans before returning them and that’s right around the time I remember that Lucky brand jeans  have a lovely little note on the fly
