hi everybody, i’m making art again! i threw out a prompt on twitter a few days ago asking everyone to send me some emojis so i could make characters out of them, and someone sent me 👽☔🍭 so here they are! it’s nice to be getting back into the swing of using my tablet again (^:

i've been really enjoying painting and practicing with portraits lately! i'm practicing by painting random photos of people i find on pinterest that i like

my advisor gave me a watercolor set as a gift last semester and i'm finally getting to use it! i want to make a series of small portraits like this to get back into the hang of painting, i'm already working on another one right now!

this is a piece i’ve been working on for a couple of weeks now! my assignment was to make an illustration that can be used as a valentine’s day advertisement for purina cat treats, specifically set in the late victorian era. i’m pretty happy with this!

made a wolf sanctuary poster for my illustration class! i took out the quote that was originally on the top half and cropped it because i hated it hehe

i’ve been back on a bit of a sims kick lately so i gave penny pizzazz a townie makeover and then decided to draw her featured on a magazine cover. man simlish is a fun looking language

when raindrops fell down from the sky the day you left me, an angel cried

this was just a little 1.5 hour color study/playing with brushes while listening to sweetener. far from a perfect drawing but i had a lot of fun with it!

i made these pieces because i was interviewed and featured in aspirants magazine for their fall issue, “contrast!” i really love what aspirants is aiming to do for lesser known artists, and i am extremely thankful that i received this opportunity.

wow i finally managed to draw this girl after my laptop got busted the first time i tried to! her name is sigrid graves, she’s a sim i made a while back and decided to make into a character. she’s a uni student and aspiring astronomer who believes grunge isn’t dead and that the truth is out there. she’s a disaster bisexual and really wants to go to bed
