its ok for your art to be bad. its ok that it looks bad sometimes. its okay that the really ambitious piece you were trying to do didn't pan out and it looks worse than what it looked like in your head and it bums you out. thats ok.

it's alright that you tried something new and it went badly. it doesn't mean you're a fraud, or a bad artist, or anything else you keep telling yourself, ok? not everything we create has to be perfect first try, that's just unrealistic. sometimes we need to be bad at something to get better at it. that's just the nature of learning a new skill.

your art doesn't have to be perfect all of the time. it's okay.
