sorry if you get these a lot but it seems like you’d know- what is the story behind the pink lesbian flag/why it’s bad? I know the lipstick one specifically was made by a transphobe but I don’t know why the pink stripes one without the lipstick mark is being rejected.

as far as i’m aware the pink flag is actually fine to use, it’s the one with the lipstick mark that was made by someone problematic but people are getting them confused, and since the pink stripe one is just the lipstick one without the mark, the credit still mostly goes to the original creator
