Can something be willed to happen? Seems to happen me quite often. This jacket for instance- I had my mind set on finding a #vintage tapestry jacket.. Put a call out to all my vintage vendor friends and scoured all online avenues. Then as if fated... the very next day, hanging in my basement was the perfect jacket! It was my super stylish roommate @stephaniejo0 's and she had just taken it out of storage. When I asked her about it, she GAVE it to me! All I did was hem it up about 8" to better compliment my petite self. But really... It's as if this jacket FOUND ME! I love the awesomely it's roomy pockets and the bold print!

I've always had a special place in my #vintage loving heart for handmade vintage... Here's a newly acquired sweater I picked up from @marketsupplyco that was #crocheted by hand by a lady (I would have loved to be friends with) in the '60s. How about those sleeves? Earrings also #handmade locally, modern with a retro vibe. 👌
I've always had a thing for strawberries and wild flowers... 🍓🌿After moving to Logan Square I was stoked to discover wild strawberries growing in my backyard! This is a head piece I created from that vine and those very berries, a tribute. And I'm so grateful that I did!!! Our next door neighbor just replaced the fence and they tore out all the so called "weeds" along with it. 😥 But I believe nature finds a way, so I'm optimistic they will return again next year.
