I have been on influenster for a short amount of time but have been very active with it so why not blog about the awesome free products! I also am a mother of an adorable, fun two year old and married to my sweetheart. I'm new to the blogging world so lets see how it goes!

Just had to give a shout out to @influenster and @marcbeauty for sending these #Le Marc liquid Lip crayons out for FREE!! Best lip crayon ever went on so smoothhh!! The best color is “send nudes”. They also lasted longer than my typical lip color which is a plus. #contest

Got some suave dry shampoo from @influenster to try out for an honest review, if you're not on influenster you should be!!!! I love trying out new free products and recommending them to friends!!! Anyways this was suave keratin infusion dry shampoo and it worked pretty well! I have colored hair and I can't wash it often so this was a big help. I got complements on my "dirty" hair today thanks to this stuff !! 😂😂

Just got my sprout voxbox from @influenster. Can't wait to try all the great products. Got some all natural hair products and laundry products. Also some organic shake mix, black bean chips and an interesting bar to try. We shall see how this stuff works and tastes!

The Hard Truth

Being a stay at home parent is not all arts & crafts and naptime. There’s a dark side that we don’t talk about. We don’t talk about it because we are supposed to feel blessed and lucky to have the privilege to stay home with our children every day, and most days we do.

Some days, however, are hard. You lose your sense of self; suddenly every minute of every day is about this little person who doesn’t even know what they want most of the time. You spend 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the same person; can you pick one person you would want to spend every waking minute with? Never getting a break for yourself? It’s exhausting.

Then there is the ravaging guilt we feel when the thought of getting a job to get away is a happy thought. I mean what decent parent wants away from their precious child? And you don’t dare tell anyone these feelings, because they won’t get it. They will tell you how lucky you are and how you should appreciate the time you get to spend with your children.

I’m not trying to make you afraid to be a stay at home parent or feel sorry for stay at home parents, I just want you to think before you tell one that “they are so lucky to have the privilege to stay home.” To stop implying they don’t know how blessed they are to spend so much time with their children. Because most days they’ll agree with you, but some days, though they would never say it, they would gladly trade your place.

Got some freebies from influenster and Apple and Eve to try! The kid loves them so far!
