She frowns at his words. Family? She was given away by hers. What’s so good about being an elf? What’s so good about being human? She’d rather be neither. “That’s nice for you.” she comments; the only family she had was Theodore and Nox, and that was all she needed. She didn’t know about the nature part (to her there was no feeling, just an opinion on whether something would be useful as an ingredient), but it was true she could use magic if she chose to. Still, that wasn’t something that only applied to elves, anyway.
“… Yeah. Lux de Fiore.” It was interesting, in a way, that somehow this encounter hadn’t happened already - if he too was also from Dahlthir - but the city was quite large and most of her time was spent either out or in the Guild Base in her own space. “The first, huh?” She ponders on it for a moment. “Guess that makes it your lucky day?”
“De Fiore?“ You repeated, trying to remember how surname structures works in the western lands. “That seems to be a name of nobility?” You inquired, thinking back to your own background. Was he considered nobility? Or the illegitimate son of a government dog. If he did have a title it went down the drain at birth. Oh well it didn’t matter to him.
“If it is then consider myself double lucky huh?” You let out a chuckle. “Most of my life I’ve been stuck in the mountains. I’ve only ever visited three other villages before coming here to Dahlthir. Everything is so new and fascinating to me. It’s quite wondrous don’t you think? I feel as if its a world of second chances. ”
