For a starter from Miraidon!
Connor merely smiled once the other Pokémon had relaxed, his gaze still intently looking back to Flick to ensure she didn’t get defensive again. After all, he was r in the mood to stop a brawl between two giant lizard-like Pokémon.
❝ I’m Connor, it’s nice to meet you, Miraidon! ❞ He looked over to Flick, gently elbowing the Koraidon. ❝ This is Flick, she’s a Koraidon. Huh, you two have pretty similar names. ❞
Flick gave a soft snort as her amber eyes remained trained on the Miraidon. ❝ Most likely your sensors or whatever are pointing at me. I am pretty powerful. ❞ The female Koraidon puffed out her chest in pride before giving a shake of her head. ❝ Not showing off my TRUE strength right now, but yeah. I’m a KORAIDON. ❞
Miraidon watched the young human elbow the Koraidon, surprised that he could just do that without worrying about her biting him or anything. She seemed not very nice at all, and Miraidon was still feeling a little hesitant and cautious to approach any closer, worried she might lash out at them like their rival miraidon did so long ago.
"I cannot find an entry in my databanks for 'Koraidon'. Are you sure you haven't misspelled?" they asked, their digital eyes repeatedly flicking back to the large red fighting type, as though afraid she might lunge at them any time.
Though upon picking up on Flick puffing her chest out and shaking her head as though trying to intimidate the cyborg being left Miraidon more confused than anything. It almost looked like they'd raised an eyebrow at her, craning their neck to look up at the female that built herself up to appear large and terrifying.
"I'm not in my apex right now. But I fail to identify your intention with boasting like that." they said, "It is unbecoming, and primitive." A pause, as Miraidon thought for a moment. "I don't think I can inflate my throat or chest like that."
An attempt was made, merely leading to Miraidon accidentily revving an engine of some sort instead, and their already luminous throat brightening in light for a moment. "Failure. Communication failed."
❝ Flick, lower your crest and deflate your dewlap. ❞ Connor's tone was serious, his body tense as he could tell when a Pokémon was agitated. He slowly exhaled. Flick blinked a bit, doing as her trainer told her to do as she shifted herself behind him. She wasn't afraid to protect her trainer from this creature.
The pair were silent, both looking at each other before back to the other. Connor was the first to speak up to the other while Flick remained quiet.
❝ Yeah, truce. Uh... what... can we help you with? ❞
Miraidon marveled at how the boy commanded this prehistoric being with ease and comfort. The cyborg raised their head again, hesitently leaving the defense position, the display eyes briefly blinking as Miraidon relaxed. Miraidon watched Flick shift to position herself behind the human abd Miraidon couldn't help but crane their neck to continue watching at the scarlet beast, failing to find any resemblence in their data bank to this one.
Miraidons gaze quickly shot back to Connor when he moved and spoke. A quiet wirring noise came from the electric types neck as the speaker kicked back into action.
"I have detected another great being within this area. Miraidon is here to investigate." said the feminine computer voice, as the future dragon pointed at Flick with their noise. "I cannot identify this one. Please confirm identity of pokemon and trainer?" After a brief pause, "Miraidon is lost."

Minor rulechange. Struck out some old rules and replaced them as follows.
I am no longer willing to entertain potential smut rp with Koraidon, I'm just not comfortable with it. He cannot shapeshift like other legendary pokemon, therefore, I will not roleplay that with him.
[mun] This also applies to Miraidon. Thank you.
@futurafamosa ;
The smell of another great being had attracted some unexpected attention. Though not intent on expression any hostility at all, the Iron Serpent approached the area of interest with a lot of caution, tight strung and on full alert, should things go south. Its silent movement only betrayed by the occassional quiet wirring and clicking of various machine parts within its body, Miraidon slowly, shyly, came into view. "... Agias?"
The sound caught Flick's attention first, the Koraidon uncurling herself from her ball as she raised her head up. Her feathery crest ruffled a bit, orange eyes flicking back to look at Connor who was busy figuring out ingredients for the next shiny Pokemon he was going after. She gave a slow blink, sitting up before looking back at the newcomer. The feathers decorating her body ruffled in fright as a low guttural noise came from her throat as a warning, her throat sack puffing out.
Flick's noise caused Connor to look over with a blink before his eyes finally rested on the strange creature. He nearly dropped a bag of cucumbers, catching it in time before placing it on the table in haste. What had approached the two looked like a creature similar to Flick... but it definitely had more of the Cyclizar attributes than any Koraidon. Plus it was PURPLE. Flick wasn't purple, she was RED. Slowly he got up from his seat, looking to Flick quickly.
❝ Heeeey there, buddy... you lost? ❞ His gaze briefly went back to the contents of the sandwich he was currently making before back to the new Pokemon. ❝ Or are you hungry? ❞
❝ Connor, I don't think— ❞
❝ Flick, it's OK. Let them talk properly if they want, ❞ His gaze moved back to the Miraidon. ❝ We're no threat to you, I promise. Sorry about her, she's a bit... protective of me. I'm Connor, who are you? Er... what are you, exactly? ❞
Upon laying sight on the burlier pokemon Miraidon felt their sensors give alarms to their brain, the cyborgs response to Flicks feathers rustling and throatsack expanding leading the electric types illuminated parts to flare with light; a threat to response in kind. They would not be bullied, they would not back down.
"Threat levels rising," came a pleasant feminine voice as though recorded from the futuristic pokemons speakers, "hostility detected."
The Iron Serpent did not blink in the conventional sense; instead the eyes' display mimicked a slow blink with shifting pixels. When Miraidon finally heared Connor speak to them as well, they seemed very confused for a moment, startled.
Miraidon took two steps back, haunches raised slightly, ready to dodge should the red ... thing decide to attack. Indeed, this being had similarities to themself, Miraidon noted, but those similarities were present in rough bodyshape only; otherwise, she was much flashier right from the get go, littered with primitive physical displays and decor that might communicate strength or dominance. None of these things relevant to communication between Miraidon.
Miraidon lowered its head, displaying the sparks of electricity that briefly danced along the antenna like eyelashes; without question an attempt at communication that Miraidon was more versed in.
"Confirm truce?"

@futurafamosa said: If she listens very closely, Celeste can hear Miraidon shove their face into her ingredients bag, trying to find foods she might make sandwiches out of. Baby is hungry!
"Oh, hey Miraidon!" Celeste chuckled as their face was put right into her bag of ingredients. A sigh came from her as she nudged Miraidon's face out of said bag.
"Alright, alright. I get it; it's Sandwich Time. Let me get in there so I can actually make a sandwich first!"
A little disgruntled grumble as Celeste nudged their face out of the bag.
"Agias!" they called in reply to Celeste offering to make them a sandwich, the dragon happily jumping in place and wiggling the tip of their tail.
"Sammich? Sammich??" came slurred and mispronounced words out of Miraidons speakers, the pokemon too excited to pay attention to pronounciation.
[mun] Miraidon is not fully mechanical. Most of its exterior and skindeep parts are biomechanical, and the deeper inside its body you go, the more organic it becomes, as it still evolved from cyclizar. Effectively, Miraidon is a cyborg of the highest order, and even its organic parts are engineered and work like an organic computer.
@picavecalyx
----
Despite their exterior being mostly made from biometallic parts, Miraidons insides were very much still organic, even if it was a biological computer. As such, radiation was a very touchy subject for them, though as of right now, Silvas radiation was luckily not strong enough yet to penetrate Miraidons tough exterior.
The cyborg dragon approached cautiously, one step after the other, reaching forward to sniff the girl.
"Detecting inhuman components and greater power signatures," their speaker voice said, before it looked up at Silva, cocking its head to the side in curiousness.
"Affirm identity as hybrid?"
[mun] yes, i did just draw that icon JUST for that reaction what about it

Miraidon felt their presence before they saw, heard, or smelled it. On edge, their muscles tensed under the shiny exterior while they sought the other Miraidon out. They wouldn't back down again, and they wouldn't let anyone else get hurt to save them either; not this time.
Not this time.
Area Zero was quiet. Too quiet.
The sound of the other robotic-like Pokemon no longer phased the stronger of its kind. It was a thoughtless routine by now for it to do rounds of the lower region of the crater, keeping away from the land touched by the sun's rays as it found solace in the crystal-littered cavern.
The dragon-type legendary lifted its head before glancing around, its sensors picking up on something encroaching on its terrain. The two-toned pixelated irises glanced around before they saw the other of its kind.
❝ ALONE WITHOUT YOUR COMPANION... ❞ they scoffed, the mechanical parts on its body whirring to life with neon lights. ❝ BRAVE LITTLE PROTOTYPE YOU ARE. WHAT IS IT YOU NEED? ❞
I AM NO PROTOTYPE, I AM THE FINAL PRODUCT. YOU FAIL TO SEE THE STRENGTH ONE'S ALLIES YIELDS.
It was smaller than it's eternal rival of course, but Miraidon stood it's ground. It's pixelated eyes gleamed steadily, refusing to avert their gaze as they met the other Miraidon's.
Hindlegs rolled up into jet engines, it lifted itself up; not to challenge it's rival, but still communicating I will fight back if you attack. I am not easily bullied anymore.
THAT IS WHY YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ALONE. WHAT USE IS A RULER'S TERRITORY IF IT HAS NO ALLIES TO SHARE IT WITH?
The proposition was implicit. Miraidon was sure the other would have no issue picking up on the olive branch it was extending. It was here to mend this torn bridge. They were connected by the same fate that had befallen them. The other Miraidon had caused it unbelievable depths of grief and trauma, but Miraidon was ready to forgive. It wasn't alone anymore. It had friends, allies, that would always have it's back. And the knowledge of the other of it's kind being isolated down there, despite it's violent nature, made it wonder wether or not it ever craved for similar things as Miraidon did. For love. For friends. For companionship.
It's displays glowing with might, Miraidon had no doubt it was worthy of consideration. It's steady gaze proved it's confidence.
so instead of absent + separated parents, what if arven had the complete opposite 😂😂😂
