Sufjan Stevens’ voice litteraly pulled me out of my bed and pushed me into my uncomfortable chair to finish this. Thank you Sufjan, I always like to be unable to sleep at 2 am. My version of older Muck! Sometimes I like to imagine that they never dated as teenagers and just went on being cute and awkward (kind of like Ben and Leslie in Parks and Rec at the beginning omg) but then at some point when they’re older they declare their love for each other AND THEY GET ENGAGED BECAUSE THEY’RE CRAZY………LIVE FAST LIVE KAWAII

ok so what if…

Chuck ends up in the Wastelands

without technology - because lets face it he depends a ton on it

and he has to try and make it with only Blond Thunder as his materials and maybe a few KaneBots

And he can’t get thru to the Burners or anyone in the city

and he can’t find a way in

and he is completely utterly out of his element

now…what if

Mike realizes Chuck is gone and no one can find him

And he searches MC best he can

But Kane keeps doing what he can to up his war and the search can’t always happen

And the Knights want to Fight too… and they want to help look for Chuck.

Grudgingly Mike agrees to teach them to fight and to drive and they form thier own sister team because i think they would

The Knights become super effective but they are still kids… but Thurman finds out the last known location of Chuck was on the border to the wastelands…

Mike leaves Julie in charge because he knows he can’t let those kids go out into the wastelands… and they prep Mutt and do what they can to be as ready for what they think is out there…

and Mike leaves to look for Chuck…

Meanwhile

Chuck is trying to survive

and it doesn’t go good for a long while and he ends up having to get away from MC because some very NASTY shit hangs out close to the city

and he has to find food on his own and clothing and medical things and deal with his own shit his own way because no one - NO ONE - is there to help

and thus Chuck and Mike begin an epic quest to find their ways home… only home is not a place it is people… and there are things that distract one another and hard times but somehow after all the mess and all the nightmares and all the people both help because it is in their nature they find one another again.

I’m not sure about how well this turned out, because it’s been a process of  me writing on and off and mainly when I was feeling really shit and as usual, it’s not betaed so beware of mistakes.

Here are some more doodles of my Older!Julie. They’re awful. 

Anyway, I did some with different hairstyles a long time back but I lost that in the piles of paper I have in my art folders.

I mentioned this before but Bluandorange drew like, the exact same disign for her Older!Julie as one of my options for mine. The cat earrings, the hair, it was scary. AND AWESOME! D8

‘E drew it better so that’s one awesome point there. Then ‘e went around being my favorite artist for a long stretch of my life so that’s another 10 GIGAGILLION POINTS!

*sigh* I almost fainted when I say the cat earrings. That’s a touch I didn’t think to hard about and just slapped on. The one’s BLu drew are really cute and I would actually love a pair lol.

I’ve been meaning to do a sketch of all the scars that Chuck gets from his time in the Waste… I kind of got lazy though. I think I just like drawing Chuck from behind. What’s up with that? 

Anyway he’s been stabbed, blown up, bitten, scratched, shot, thrown, and nearly drowned so I imagine that he’s got a few marks on him. 

The line around his left shoulder is suppose to be much much lighter than that but I’m a heavy handed artist. It’s the seam where his prosthetic arm meets real flesh and blood. His arm at one point gets badly damaged around the wrist and Chuck has no way to put “skin” back on it so he just keeps it covered and hopes for the best.

I needed to draw Chuck and Mike together because it was killing me. I went with Blu’s short-haired design for Mike as just the Mike for this AU too because frankly it’s a prefect design in my eyes. I had to go from memory though.

I don’t care how mad these two get at each other, mike and Chuck are bros for life in all my headcanons and AUs and you can’t tell me otherwise.

Also it seems that I got Harry Potter in my Motorcity. How did that happen?
