anxiety comes creeping up again. i hate it but i also don't do anything about it.
Hbd to me. I made it through another trip around the sun. 2021 wasn't so bad. My dogs kept me sane when I couldn't keep my shit together. They made 2021 bearable. Love them to death.
Thinking about digital ghosts. The queue of a dead person's blog still running. Apps and games posting on someone's Twitter and Facebook. People's old reddit posts. Long gone folk captured on Google maps. Accounts like houses, waiting for someone to come home.
The Green Knight (2021)
I'd drown happily.
This poem came to me in a moment when I was thinking about death and the paradoxes of beginnings and endings.
The part “Everything that was simply becomes everything that is” was the first thing that I wrote and to be honest I don’t even think it makes sense grammatically, but it makes sense in a way that brings me comfort.
And I hope it can do the same for you as well.
im so enamored with stories that portray love as something soft and kind because i do think that love at its core is an act of kindness. its part of the reason i prefer the idea of growing into love instead of falling in love because when i think of growing into love i think of a garden, like love is something to cultivate, to tend to daily, a steady progression of growth with some setbacks, a few dying leaves here and there, having to move to a bigger pot and a spot with more sunshine, but it’s still something that at the end of the month, or a year, or a decade, or a lifetime you can look at and see the product of your dedication, see exactly what it means to pour your heart into something. i just! love reading about kind love!
