I have exciting news! Like I stated before I have many dogs as of right now I have six. Three of them or mail them three or female. The three females Marley onyx and Chickies are pregnant. Cheeky's was badly injured when she was smaller by a previous owner so she can't have that many puppies. The last time she had puppies she only had one and the time before that she had tow Onyx is her daughter. Onyx had her first litter about six months ago and she had four puppies. Not to mention that they were all ridiculously cute. Marley had her first baby laterdhd litter, And she had 10 puppies but only for survive due to Parville. The last time we had several female dogs having litters we had 28 puppies in the house so I am super excited to see how many puppies we are going to have now at once. However I am not looking forward to dealing with overprotective moms. Especially onyx she is very defensive in general and Will try to fight any dog that gets near her puppies. I just hope that TK 🎀💙 is and her puppy doesn't die inside her like last time.Please keep them in their prayers and thank you.

When COVID-19 was first found in Asia, I would watch the news, and I thought oh maybe it's like a cold. Then I saw the number of deaths and I worried a little.I thought well what are the chances of it getting to the US since Asia is pretty far away.In Italy got hit with the COVID-19 in other countries did too and the next thing you know there are cases in the US too. Your guy hit the hardest at first and so did other states but we still didn't close. Then the President Trump decided to close shop and have sheltered in home rules. At that point I was really worrying.

It is all very sad that people are losing their jobs but what is devastating is that many people are dying, yet people who are healthy and young decide that there immune or something and decide to carry on with your daily activities despite the virus is being around. I don't generally watch the news more than anything I have mini news apps and that's how I stay up-to-date with the news because I can't just sit there and watch the news for me it gets very boring. By having the apps on my phone I can read at my own pace and if I want more information I can click on more links or something like that. I guess it wasn't enough for any people to be dying in the US. I don't believe that Georgia should have opened. As a matter of fact I was reading the news this morning in the cases have increased by a 40% since Georgia has reopened the state.What I think is awfully wrong is that people are threatening the mayor of Atlanta because she won't reopen Atlanta. She is only doing it for our safety in because as a mayor she is looking for the best way to keep us safe. However in my opinion I believe that I understand why mayor can't open Georgia so the market doesn't crash but at the same time there's so many more people dying. I wish people would stop partying together or going out just because they're bored at home. For example Lennox mall reopened in there were tons of people gathering together.

The more people that don't listen and stay at home, the more deaths they will be in my opinion. We just have to think what is more important, a beer and hanging out with friends for our lives. Maybe because it hasn't impacted them personally a loss of a loved one but I have in the only thing I could say is that I never got to say goodbye to him. That's something that I don't wish on anybody and really wish people would just listen and stay inside so we can get over this pandemic.

Something that I always wanted to talk about is how equality between genders. how a man gets paid more than women, same job, but different page for just the simple fact of being a male. It is unfair and mediocre. A women can do the job of a male better than then, yet she still gets paid less. How does that make sense? If companies would base salary based off skill only and not looks or genders it would solve many issues. For example in Orange is the New Blac, there were 3 correctional officers, and one mentioned that he only received 45K a year, and was not paid enough. A white female correctional officer mentioned she only made 35k, and that she was an army veteran. Last the African American female correctional officer stated that she only earned 29k a year. Maybe because she wasn't a vetern,it didn't earn her a better salary like the white correctional officer. Now I know that it is just a tv show, and that it is not real, but it takes real life examples and displays them so the world can see how it affects us. The white male correctional officer had not been in the army, yet he still got offered a higher salary than a white female veteran. The male correctional officer drank beer, instigated inmate fights, and had drug operations within the jail. The female veteran wrote shots for inmates, helped with the GED classes, and organized a Christmas show for the veterns. Again, like I said before I know that it's not real, but it is an example of what happens in real life . In some cases females riot and organize rallies just for equal pay, something that should already be established. It is completmy unfair, and knowing that I have to work twice as hard just to earn some respect is just not something I look forward to doing.

Chispa

We now have 6 dogs, Simba( Rottweiler), Max(GSD), Marley(GSD), Onyx( Yorkie Poo), Blaze(Yorkie Poo), Chiquis(Pekingese), and our newest pup is Chispa. Chispa is Onyx’s daughter she is the cutest puppy ever and she has so much energy. She is also my moms favorite which is odd because my mom does not like dogs for the most part. Our dogs hate being inside so my dad built them a house outside with insulation, windows, and a space where they could run around inside a kennel.However, Chispa was kept inside because she was very small, and we didn’t want our big dogs to step on her. Chispa stuck with my mom, and my mom loved her so much she decided to keep her inside. Chispa would go out with the other dogs when we opened the house for them, and she would even roam free through the neighborhood to play with other small dogs, but would always come home at night. When she was tired or needed a nap she would go to the front door and scratch on it to let us know that she wanted to come inside. I remember this one night my dad brought to puppies home to give to other people. The puppies would cry all night and would not let Chispa sleep, so Chispa would get mad and growl at them. Something that I noticed about her is that she values her sleep so much, and hates when someone wakes her up. It was so cute because she is so small, but I understood her because I don’t like being waken either. One day Chispa was out with the rest of the dogs, and someone took her. Maybe they thought she was lost or something. My neighbors called us to let us know that they saw her being carried by a kid. We looked for her for days and knocked on doors, but could not find her. My mom was sad , very sad because she loved her. My dad would get onto Chispa and my mom would defend her and tell her to stop . We still miss her so much because she was so special. We honestly just wish they would just bring her back. That’s all we want, for our Chispa to come home #MissYouChispa

Sometimes I feel like I have bad luck . on Tuesday I was driving home from the Marietta campus, and everything was fine, I was driving on the slowest lane because I had just got on the hwy , when a black Altima hit my car , there was not much damaged, but it was dark, I didn't see the hit coming and it caused me to swerve onto the grass. It scared me so much because I had not ever been a car accident, and for the most part I am alone in Kennesaw, so I didn't have no one to call. I had some bruising and pain, so the officer took me to the hospital where I had some bleeding. Since I was pregnant, they admitted me. The nurses were very nice to me while I was awake, did everything that they could for me, but unfortunately the results of that car accident where tragic. They called my mother who lives in Athens, and she got to the hospital as soon as she could. she gave me the news, and I felt like it was unreal...

I was released from the hospital a week later, and felt completely empty. The worst part of all was that they never found the person who caused the accident, so they are left roaming free,driving recklessly while I have to find a way to fix my car, and suffered such a hard loss.

I am sharing my story, so people are more careful on the road. Reckless drivers are not only putting theirselves at risk, but also everyone else on the road . Please dont drive while texting, speed, or drive under the influence. We have to be able to protect each other, not cause each other harm.

There's exciting news at my house! My dad was doing a job in Atlanta per his company, and over heard this man mentioning that his dog had puppies, and you was going to take them to the shelter bc he didnt have the money or time to take care of them. my dad gave him some money and bought all of them so they wouldn't go to a shelter . We later found out that the real reason why the man didn't want them was because they had Parvo. the litter consisted of 9 females and one male. we Tried everything to try to save them . Unfortunatly only out of the whole little only 4 survived, 3 females and the male. Before we knew they had Parvo, I had already asked my dad if I could keep two of them . I was kind of a stretch because we already had 4 dogs, but he said yes! I fell in love with an all black German Shepar, she was the cutest, always happy and always getting in trouble. On the other hand the male was the most timid one, so I decided to pair them up so the male would become more comfor with us having his sister around. One morning I went to feed the puppies, and see how they were doing and 4 puppies had passed away. My dad thought it was weird so we took them to the vet, and they were diagnosed with Parvo. It was very sad, and I cried. I ended up bringing the male with me to Kennesaw, and taking care of him. Since he was already so shy, and now sick, I thought that dedicating myself to him would cheer him up and I could give him his medicine to ensure him getting better. It took almost 2 months for him to feel better, but he finally did. We gave the rest of the surving puppies to friends, and let them know that they had Parvo, but do not anymore.

The best news of all, my dad went back to the man and offered to buy the mom . She is all black and completely beautiful. She is so playful and loyal. I am so great full for my Max & Marley ❤️

When grocery shopping, I wne to the fresh produce section of Kroger, I like going to the section where they have rare fruit. Not in any way saying that the fruit there is strange, but it is fruit that they do not get often when they recieve trucks or do no recieve many of that fruit.

I picked up this pink looking fruit that is called Dragon Fruit, or atleast that is what it said on the label. It was a bit pricey, but while I was doing my other shopping at Kroger I was also researching the fruit. In a way the inside of the fruit reminded me of a Kiwi, however the outside she looked nothing like the inside, so now more than ever. I was super curios to see what it tasted like. I was just hoping that it did not tast bad. I checked out, and put all my groceries in the car, but I put the Dragon Fruit in the front seat, so nothing would happen to it, or get lost with all the other groceries. I got home and put up everything that I had purchased. I sat down at the table and prepared the table like if I were going to eat a full course meal.

I always get excited about trying new things, and believe that there is nothing like the first taste, so I like to make sure that it is an experience that I will remember. I got something to drink incase I did not like it. I grabbed my napkin, knife, and a plate to set the fruit on. I washed the fruit and started to cut into it. When I bit into the fruit, I was a little confused. I didnt have the strong taste I thought it would have, but it was really good, so good that I finished it within matter of seconds. Now everytime I go to a grocery store I stop to see what kind of rare fruits they have so I can taste, and honestly it is my favorite thing about going grocery shopping.

So the majority of my day consists of work and school. For the most part I wake up around seven and somehow end up going to sleep around 12 to 2 in the morning. I lied... on rough days (which seems that is all I am having now a days) I dont wake up until 8 or so, and that is one becuase I have to be at work at 8:45, and I can't go into the office looking like I just got out of bed. Its about a 15 minute drive to work, so I give myself atleasst 3 minutes to get ready, but its like a marothon season from 8-8:30. I have to take a shower, do my hair, brush my teeth, do my makeup..ALL under 30 mins, buy by the time I get to work, I am wide awake.

For the most part I dont have time to watch much TV. Most of the time, it is just playing in the background so it will not be super quiet in my apartment. I started watching this show on Netflix named Criminal Minds. It is one of the best shows I have ever watched. I love solving mysteries, and learning about servial killers which may be odd, but I like to know what caused them to do those horrific things, and how they are caught. When I went to tell my friends abou this show that I thought was new, they let me know that Criminal Minds had be around for a while. The showed me pictures on Instagram and Twitter of the behavioral analysis unit . In all honesty, I felt so dumb at the moment and I felt like crawling into a cave. That was okay though, because I had 9 seasons of my new favorite show to watch!

It has been a month since Veronica's memorial, and I still feel like something is missing. Her youngest child jsut turned 4 years old, and I was honored to be invited to the party. The party mainly consisted of a few close friends and family, probably about 15 people total. I just wish she could see how much her friends loved her children, and the huge smile on his face when he opened the door for each guest. Her husband took the day off from work, and planed everything. The part was almost perfect, the only one that was missing was her, but like I said before she is always watching, and in spirit I know she was there. The cake was delicious, and Sam was so happy with his presents. He has a new obsession over Pokemon, and wants everything Pokemon. It does not matter if he already has a certain action figure, he will never say no to another one of the exact character.

After unwrapping the gifts we decided to do a TikTok, thanks to her oldest daugter Gabby. TikTok is a new social media platform kind of like Vine was. It was the first time I had every been in a TikTok, and honestly I had no idea what I was doing in the video. I felt lost, but now more than ever I believe that making memories with those who you love is very important. I know that one day when we are older we are going to look back at the video and remember the fun times we had.

On the other hand, I am still trying to piece myself together. It may look like I am fine, and doing well, but I cry every day because I still cannot wrap my head around when , why or how did I loose my bestfriend within 2 weeks. However, like Veronica always said, I just have to hold my head high and take it day by day. After all there is no time frame for healing.

A month ago on December 6th I found out that my bestfriend who I though had the flu, actaully had Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma. When I first heard that word, I had no idea what it meant, I just knew that it could not be anything good, especially with it being Stage 4. I did some research and discovered that it was stomach cancer, one of the hardest, if not the hardest cancer to treat. At that moment I felt like my world was crumbling. Veronica Rezebeck is the most genuine person I know. I met her when I started working for OnePoint. She was my supevisor and mentor when I first arrived. Our offices were right next to each other, so I would always go into her office for advice, help, or just to talk. She knew that I was far from home in another city all alone. Veronica invited me over several times for dinner, parties, or to babysit her two children Gabby and Sam. I would always watch how Veronica treated her children, she always asked her children " What was your intention?". If the intention was to harm then she would punish them after a long talk. If the intention was good, but it just had a bad outcome, she would understand, and simply talk to them. She gave me so many memories in such little time that she became one of the only people that I talked to on a daily basis.

Veronica had also suffered from Fibrocystic Breast Disease which is not cancer, but it is a condition where the breast feels lumpy , breast pain, and in case caused a very painful hole in her breats, and the worst part of all is like cancer ther is no real cure for it. Because Veronica had such a high tolerance for pain she and everyone else thought she was just having symptoms of her disease.

When she went to the hospital and was diagnosed with bonchitis and the flu, after having a full body scan the doctor found the cancer. She had okay days, but she had many awful days where she could not breath at all. The doctors did several surgeries and chemotherapy, but nothing helped. As soon as we thought she was doing better, she would relapse to the point that Veronica came to terms with the cancer. Veronica came to terms that she would have to miss out of seeing her children grow up or get married. When I heard those words comming out of her mouth, I felt like the wold around me was crumbling down around me, I did not want her to give up because no matter what I was full of hope, hope to see my best friend walking into the office again like nothing ever happened. Veronica mentioned that she wanted to have one last Christmas with her family, so her family and friends came together and gave their family everything they had asked for from Santa. Seeing the childrens face lit with joy was breathtaking.

Veronica passed away the day after Christmas on the morning of December 26, 2019. She had lost her battle with cancer, but in some way I felt the relief to know that she would not be in pain anymore. At the same time I felt like a piece of me was missing, ad till this day I think of her every single day. I know that she is watching over me in heaven like she always did when she was alive. I just wish I could see her again, and tell her how much I miss her.
