The 2026 EN new year event forced my hand into joining Jack nation. The thing is I love a stressed man and Jack tries to always be cool and collected, but retail will bring it out of any man trust I wanted him to look like he was very excited about the plant and trying to keep composure, hence the constipated look. Feel free to imagine the tail wagging

The plant I modelled this after is the aloe humilis. Fun fact, cacti are a type of succulent :] Extra fun fact, humus and humility have the same root word because you humble yourself by allowing yourself to come in contact with earth

Nondescript harpy Cecil from last year. Why? Because it's fun. Not enough? Uhh the freedom of a bird and the one in his Tours performance and cats and yume stuff trust trust trust.

Another unpolished harpy Cecil design below too but this time peacock. One day I'll draw Swan Lake Cecil, fantail pigeon Cecil, seagull Cecil…

Confident, loud, dramatic— Beyond their elegance there's many ways in which the peacock would be the obvious Cecil bird pick. I'm partial to a mischievous corvid, but I had fun thinking about wing types I'm not used to. Decorative wings would have been evil but thematically interesting gdbdg- ahh my cheerful king of angst. I wanted big strong wings, ones that soar a lot like condors or eagles, maybe even kestrels... Close enough! Peacocks can fly but mostly just for short distance, usually to get into trees and such… Which!! Cecil likes to lounge in trees checkmate. Big wings that are good for strong bursts! AND!! Green & orange combo aw yeah it's all coming together

My little alt vers bin this time around... One day I'll be able to make a mosaic effect by hand but y'all don't wanna see my attempt this time around

Happy birthday Mickbell! For the occasion I made your little homunculus a friend (colleague). Mickplush, meet Rinshie

Her chest symbol is an alkekengi fruit! I picked it because, her favorite food being dried fruits aside, one of its names is the amour en cage (love in a cage) for its striking appearance vaguely reminiscent of a heart. A sour fruit for a sour girl that keeps her feelings, unrequited and not, behind walls~

I wanted to do much more details on it through embroidering at first, but now I wish I hadn't even put that last bar on top of the fruit. The thread is orange but I also regretted not working in more colors, so I inked the lower half of it with some of her signature red!

Much faster turnaround than last time lol~! Just 5 months from starting on the face, shooting for faster again for my next one. Had to frankenstein patterns together- and I am heartbroken that she turned out 25cm instead of the 30cm I was shooting for, she isn't towering over him nearly as much as I'd hoped... OTL Might give it another go one day. Might make a Kuro, too~ Ah and the little Mickbell amoeba starfish plushie i wanted too. Ahh so much meshi-ing to do, and so little time. I've been steadily making progress on a Rinsha plushie too, and for her I'm shooting to make a 30 cm doll with long legs, so I'm adapting the pattern I have... hopefully it'll look good, I'm prepared for some experimentation though. I also upscaled the 20cm pattern into a 40cm one that I wanna attempt eventually, though not for a dunmesh character this time

About the pattern... That's a whole story, honestly.

Tbh, I myself got my push from this twitter thread about making a Kabru omodoki. Which means I got the pattern from that blog linked on there, now deleted… From what I gather, their Naver username was Chdtofu and they made the pattern, that or they were just making guides to use them, and for whatever reason their blog was deleted mid 2025 iirc. If you google chdtofu Naver you can even find other korean pages about making omodokis linking back to their blog. This one is vague on who made it but mentions the pattern is free? Reverse image search doesn't turn up much. Whatever the case, without a public statement I'll assume it's okay to reshare.

Keep in mind that tumblr resizes images sometimes, depending on if you click on it first or not or whatever sorcery it involves. They're jpegs of 2400+ pixels wide if it helps, I can try to put them on google drive instead if this doesn't work. Print on A4 sized paper or larger!

The white clover symbolizes promise and means "think of me", sometimes translated as "please love me". Like in the case of Pandora Hearts' artwork below, as 「私を愛してください」.

This has always been a very striking image to me ever since I saw it, and I've come to associate Cecil with it a lot, so I wanted to do a redraw. Happy birthday Cecil! You're very beloved, by so many. ❤️

Happy egg day to the egg boy in an AU where he steals eggs!

Basically, a lonely harpy kidnaps a dog from a neglectful owner, steals bird eggs then also kidnaps the hiking lady that comes around sometimes that he's seen do bird charity once, because wow making sure 50 eggs hatch is actually a lot of work to do alone, hm. Kidnapping is always the solution. Co-brainstormed with @aatom87

Feral little harpy guy Mickbell... The egg thief saga. Lol right- don't mind my other art I just find funny the mental image of Mickbell, the guy who loves eating eggs, becoming a very trustworthy indeed egg nanny- he does not in fact want to eat these........ Yet. I say that but the true egg nanny here is Rin. Guy just has no other harpies around no companionship, listen dogs are the best friend of man, Kuro's an affectionate cuddles man and it's FINE if Mickbell never lets him down from the nest it's FINE it's FI-

There's still much concept art to do, I'd like to draw much more of this AU but the design's not consistent just yet. Like I just learned cockatiels are zygodactyl? Me shame be immeasurable. 😔 But in THIS harpy Mickbell AU I'm thinking of basing him more on the swift bird <3 I always tend to think of harpies as a mountainous species but this guy lives in a foresty valley I'd say. Two mickrin harpy AUs though is not enough yet btw I'm already working on ferocious harpy Rin x the fucker she needs to hint down because he littered.

The background went through a loooot lol. Mess around with colors, and if it's not working the solution is always to add more black. The second best is making things brown and monotone.
