“Getting high without me? Tsk,” he teased before he nodded. “Yeah, we can go in my rental down in the garage. Let me just go and get my car keys and we can go and get to the shops.”

“Sorry,” she chuckled. “I’ve got plenty though, just restocked my supply last night. I’ll roll one while you run up to get your keys.”

“Isn’t weed considered getting low? Like, high is more associated with heroin and stuff like that, ain’t it?” He asked, not knowing much about drugs. He was mostly asking for the sake of conversation.

Icelynn pursed her lips for a moment before speaking. “I’m pretty sure heroin is a downer, so I don’t think so. As far as weed, it depends on the strain to be honest. There’s indica which makes you lazy and sleepy, the typical stoner stereo type but there’s also sativa which actually gets you going and is used for medical purposes. But honestly I think it all depends on the user of whatever drug. There’s people who use pills and still say they’re getting high when it’s a downer; so I guess it’s preference.” She explained in detail before she realized she was rambling. “Wow, sorry. That was a bit much. So if you don’t do anything like that, what do you do for fun?”

“Well, I mean, I could have always pawned it off or something, if that’ll fit more into your views of the normal thief,” he suggested, lifting a shoulder to shrug as he gave the girl a grin. “And only about a day, give or take a few hours. Haven’t been here long, that’s for sure.”

“Im just saying they typically wouldn’t give whatever back. So not much longer than me. Have you met anyone else?”

Oh yeah, tents are great. I used to set one up in the empty field back home with my boyfriend and we’d stay out all night, getting high and stuff. Try it sometime, it’s fun. Closer to nature.

“Oh it’s so cool. Just getting baked out of your mind and hanging out with all the marine life, it’s beautiful. I used to go at least once a week.” Glancing over at the button panel, Icelynn inwardly cheered as her floor was coming up. “It’s not that bad, I suppose. Stairs usually are quicker though, just be happy we haven’t had to stop to let anyone else on.”

“Oh well here, allow me,” she offered as she took out her phone. Quickly googling the nearest market she took a step closer to show him the screen. “It looks like if you take North Avenue then go left of Thames it’ll take you to a store, it’s less than a mile according to google.”

They sat their bag down and leaned against the wall, crossing their arms. “’S a very, uh, slow elevator,” they stated, just wanting to get to their room and curl up on the floor. “I’m Remy, by the way,” they told her, not sure what else to say.

“Yeah, it’s a pretty cool place. The aquarium is where it’s at, honestly.” Falling silent, she slid her hand into her back pocket and fiddled with the baggie. Just touching it sent chills down her spine. “Huh?” She whispered snapping back into reality. “Oh, yeah, it is. They’re all like this, honestly. I’m Icelynn.”
