The Magnus Archives: Jonathan Sims (Season 2) fanart (Just Axing Questions)
I made a breakdown with subtitles of the piece, there was some glitching with the open and closing card, I didn't want to spend another re rendering it, sorry folks.
Really enjoying this podcast so far on my first listen through. I'm on like MAG 109 or 110 I think now. Honestly excellent in pretty much every way. My favorite recurring character is definitely the evil table, I love a girlboss who destroys people's lives effortlessly.
I'm in the middle of a Michael/The Distortion painting rn, but it won't be as polished as this one took a lot out of me and I'll need some time to recharge. Set assembled in Daz studio, exported to Blender (still running 4.9 I believe) for lighting, camera, some extra texturing and rendering in cycles of course. Painted over and finalized in my beloved Photoshop.
Overall this probably took about 15 hours total, 5-6 hours for the 3d portion and the rest for the paint over. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, I don't always use 3d as a perspective aid but once you know what you're doing it really does take a lot of the guesswork away for me which I'm thankful for.
If you are interested in prints, stickers, etc of this (or seeing my catalog) :
Scene from the end of season 2 of the magnus archives
If anyone has any other places they'd prefer prints to be made please let me know and I'll go about that, Ive just had red bubble a long time for ease but I know some people aren't a fan. One day I'll get the stuff to make my own prints and stickers, but alas it is expensive.
