And THAT is the moment I fell in love with this movie for good and forever. THAT is the moment I didn’t know if I wanted to cry or laugh. So I kind of did both.

Don’t start me on that, ma fée, or else I won’t know when to stop. 

This moment. This particular moment. I was crying. And smiling. Just like you probably did. Because this is exactly what this whole movie is about. Believing. Getting your eyes open enough to see what’s in front of you, what you can see with just a bit of effort. Just finding the words which will open the door you’ve always been afraid to touch. I think, even Jack wasn’t believing anymore it could happen. I mean… Look at him. Look at his eyes, his mouth, his eyebrows. He doesn’t even realize what’s happening. Someone, a little boy, finally sees him, finally hears him. It just needed a few words ; two. Jack Frost. His name. The name he was given not knowing why, not knowing what his place in the world was. But at that second, it starts to make sense. What he does is important. What he says even more. “I finally have a person to protect.” For real. He is a guardian.

And Jamie was his guardian, all along. Jamie made him believe again.

Character line up from my Dude I Want My Hat Back. It was really fun when I drew something like this as if I’m working a la in an animation studio (let me dream ok???). Oh and I applied the 8 circles height for these characters and it was really useful. Fun & Super Danny, Sam & Tucker are 5 heads tall, Maddie is 6, Vlad 7, Jack 8 and lastly I made Jazz 6 heads and a half. I also make various poses for Fun Danny too. My personal favorite is the middle coz it’s pretty obvious.
