A look at the unreleased Doctor Fate’s Khalid Nassour skin in DC Heroes United, which is actually present in the game files, implying it to be a later release. It may also confirm that he will appear in the series…….if it comes back up. (Source)

His costume here is actually more based off of Khalid Ben-Hassin but then again, it’s his alternate self.

Khalid cameo in New History of the DC Universe #4.

With this here, Khalid’s debut now explicitly happens after the Darkseid War event but before Rebirth. It does move him at a couple years from where he was originally (2015) but now he cannot have been Doctor Fate no later than 2017 (Rebirth/New Justice/JLD happens in 2018).

This now means there no way Khalid can have only been Doctor Fate & later replaces Kent for just a year or two as Lemire & Johns has written. He’s been around the superhero community for EIGHT years.
