The Hogwarts founders were four witches and wizards who established Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the medieval era, in the 10th century. These four founders are widely described as being the most brilliant witches and wizards of the time and were the following: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Each of them created their own House: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin respectively.

I had this musing of a quick drabble and couldn't wait to post it here

Everyone knew that Rowena Ravenclaw was fiercely protective of her daughter Helena, but nearly no one knew the true reason why. Many assumed it was due to witnessing the harsh cruelty many children with magic were subjected to but the truth was Helena was not her first child. Rowena had suffered two miscarriages before giving birth to her daughter. Both had occurred while Godric, her husband, was away from Hogwarts. But Helga and Salazar knew. The head of Slytherin had disposed of and burnt the bed linins and cloths while Helga had held her as she cried. Gryffindor never knew of his wife's pain, never got to morn the children he would never know. Of all the secrets and half truths they had all told one another, this was the one that cut deepest.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore this blog! I have never shipped Salazar Slytherin or Helga Hufflepuff, in fact, I have never given the founders any thought at all, but oh my, now I am absolutely addicted. Salazar and Helga melt my heart. Thank you so much for that.

I was going to follow this blog, until i saw your shipping choices because I actually prefer Salazar with Rowena rather than she with Godric and he with Helga. It's a shame really because it's a brilliant tumblr and i'd love to have your works on my dashboard. However, i'm sure you can understand the principals of OTP's and such. Damn! :(

We do reblog those ships but the creators otp's are different than the popular ones, I believe.

It's a shame you won't follow us because of what we ship when we reblog mostly everything.
