I hate this meme so much because it’s an insult to Edmund. I am not saying this against Slytherins as a whole, but they only against Salazar Slytherin. This meme hyper focuses on Edmund’s betrayal which is a very small part of Edmund’s story. Also since Edmund is one of my favorites, I don’t like that people want to make him a traitorous blood supremacist. I don’t see Susan as Rowena either since she isn’t particularly intelligent or clever, she was just basically a girl and older sister. I will give it this much, Peter is like Gryffindor and Lucy is Helga.

A Hogwarts Founders Fic

They met as children and rejoined all grown. A fairytale-ish story of the four founders in their teenage youth.

Three times, he had left her, and three times, she waited. She waited, with swords and knives by her side, and he had returned, knowing what he was walking into, because though patience was considered her greatest forte, it didn’t mean she quite appreciated it, not in the least. Countless times he had misspelled her name, just to see her golden eyes land on him with irritation. It was too immature for him, he knew it, but he couldn’t help it, because when those eyes landed on him, he thought he could live through another torturous day. One time, he had told her he loved her. Five times, they fought over the most tedious of things, and once, an argument that would change everything. He would remember everything of that day, from the clear fear in her golden eyes as she stared at him, wanting him to give the answer she expected. He knew what she wanted of him, and the horror in her eyes broke his heart like it had never before, for she had stood beside him despite anything, and he had done the same for her. One time, he nearly killed her, and three times he saved her life. She liked to bring that fact up when they broke into one of their many arguments, and he had no choice but to bend to her will, because although the events had granted him of her, how could he live with knowing he might’ve taken away the one thing that mattered in his life with his own hands? And when it came to that, it didn’t really matter how many times he saved her afterwards. Two times, she had fallen in love, and him, countless times, for he could find no reason not to love her, and loving was discovered to be a dangerously addictive habit he had no will to quit. Salazar Slytherin had loved Helga Hufflepuff, and she had loved him back.

Her family was of Norse origin, settled in Wales and eventually became smiths, hence the surname of her descendants. Helga forged her famous cup herself.

The youngest of the founders. Never married.
