He says a lot of stuff on Twitter that's made me go "hmmm" before but I'd always ignored it. Now I've just muted him because I don't need to see another argument between him and a fan.

Are you referring to the whole “boycotting the Oscars” issue he tried to address? If so I understand why some people got upset because he doesn’t think boycotting would work but on the other hand he is an actor of color and is well aware of the lack of diversity in Hollywood. We all just choose to address it and fight it in different ways. I don’t think he could have handled it any better than he currently is.
