Killian Jones spun on his heel, his sword in hand and pointed at the curvaceous figure of a woman in a red hood. Her lips turned into a smirk as she lifted the hood from her mess of silky curls and braids. His mouth watered, an involuntary action, but he couldn’t deny the sensation. “How do you know who I am?” He found it interesting, how she had addressed him, her eyes seemed to read him like an open book.

"I saw you leave the tavern, alone, so unlike yourself." She pulled at the strings of her hood and he watched the bright red fabric fall to the forest floor with rising interest. "Thought you could use the company."

When he finally tracked her down, her crimson cape trailing behind her like a pool of blood, black tendrils of curls that fell down her back and the cold stare of golden lit eyes that bore into him like daggers, he knew he wanted her all to himself.

Ruby & Killian share a drink at the Rabbit Hole

"I don’t see why we can’t just drink at Granny’s, I mean-" Killian stopped mid-sentence as Ruby stepped out of the bathroom, his mouth dropping open as his eyes traveled up her silhouette slowly. "What’s that your wearing?"

"I believe this is what’s known as a very tiny dress.” She answered, a smirk pulling up the corner of her mouth slightly.

"I can see that," he replied appreciatively, his eyes lingering on the curve-hugging red mini dress as she walked towards him. "Why have I never seen this very tiny dress of yours before?”

"We’ve never been on a proper date before, now have we?" She smiled, straightening the collar of his shirt affectionately. 

"I’m starting to see the appeal of these ‘proper dates,’" He grinned as she leaned up towards him, bringing her lips close enough to his that he could smell the peppermint on her breath, before she paused, a wicked smile on her lips, and turned away just as he leaned down to capture her lips.

"You don’t get a kiss until after the date! That’s how it works." She laughed teasingly when he growled with annoyance, twirling away towards her bedroom door. She glanced back over her shoulder at him when she didn’t hear him follow. "Well, are you coming?"

"I just… want to walk behind you." He winked at her, following, and she laughed even as she rolled her eyes.

"You’re incorrigible, pirate."

Captain Wolf AU- Early 20th Cent

 Ruby Lucas works in her Granny’s shop when she meets Killian Jones. They fall in love <3<3 but he has to leave to earn his profession of Sea Captain. They write letters to each other and Ruby patiently waits for her love to return…
