Sorry I've been M.I.A. lately! School has started up for me and I had a scary amount of summer work to get done, on top of work, fundraiser planning (being class president I get to deal with that. Yay!), and mentoring training to deal with.
I promise big things are coming your way. BIG THINGS.
Longshot songfic to Blame It On Me by parachute. Artemis is getting married, and Roy isn’t exactly thrilled. Rated T for reasons, but nothing too awful. First fic! Sequel is possible but not certain. “I suppose congratulations are in order.” Artemis whipped her head around. “Roy?” she whispered incredulously
You’re my air, when I feel I can’t breathe.
Catching me, when I’m tripping over my feet.
We’ll get through this together.
You’re my smile, when I just want to cry.
Make it all better as you kiss my sad eyes.
I’m giving you my forever and ever.
Characters: Artemis Crock/Artemis, Roy Harper/Red Arrow
A/N: Request and prompt by the lovely babydevz for a lovely pairing. Hope it’s how you imagined it, or at least close to it. Enjoy! Also, did I ever mention that I’m really bad with titles? Hahaha.
Summary: There was so much snark in Roy’s voice, Artemis had to wonder how he wasn’t drowning in it. At any other time, she’d be laughing her head off. But right now, she was too angry to see anything funny about this.
Rating: T, I guess.
Pairing: Roy/Artemis
A/N: Let me know if you people liked it. Maybe I’ll write some more.
Can you make a longshot fanvid to "bullseye" by Aly and A.J. its really just a perfect song for the video and I would so do it but I lack the technology! Thanks!
Ugh, I would totally love to but my video-editing skills are non-existent!

“Just shut up and give me your coat, Artemis.”
“Um. I’d rather not.”
“You’re sopping wet – just give me the damn coat so you don’t drip all over my floors!”
“Fine,” she snapped, unbuttoning the gaudy garment. She ripped her arms out of the sleeves and tossed it into Roy’s outstretched ones, a crumpled mess.
He said nothing as he took the sight of her in a short, lacy, black silk slip and a pair of the ugliest rain boats he’d ever seen in.
“Happy?” She said throwing her hands out.
Roy glanced down at the eyesore in his arms, and then back to her toned figure. “I have to admit it’s an improvement.”
Artemis rolled her eyes, kicked off her boots, and paced into the living room. Roy lived in a large, new apartment featuring dark walnut hardwood floors and recessed lighting throughout. It was light and breezy, with high ceilings and an open floor plan, and from what she could see, painted white in each room. The living room featured a cushiony-looking beige sofa, sleek dark coffee and end tables, and was accessorized with tiny bits of different shades of blue and greens reminiscent of the sea. A shaggy, light brown accent rug lay under her feet. Large windows lined the wall opposite of the entertainment center, and granted Artemis with a view of Star City just as good as one from the top of some of the highest rooftops in the area. The dining room, featuring a grand-looking table and intricate, edgy, metal chandelier, and kitchen were visible from her spot behind a leather armchair.
“I can see why you’d be so worried about me messing up your floors, Harper. Your apartment is gorgeous. How do you afford this place? It looks like an art gallery or something.” She stopped to further admire the space. “I guess angsting and styling your hair makes more money than I thought it did, huh?” she marveled, trying to get a better look at the kitchen.
“Ha. Very funny. I have my resources,” he shrugged out of his suit jacket and tossed it onto the sofa before taking off down the short hallway on the other side of the room. “Come on, I’ll show you to the bathroom. You can shower while I get a plate ready for you, okay?”
“I have never found you more attractive than I do right now, Harper.”
