Having a Physical Disability

When I was a child, I didn't know that I have a serious knees problem. I only found when I was in middle school. I was with a friend from school. We went to the Rainforest Cafe in Towson mall. I was chasing my friend when my left knee cap slipped out of place. I fell down on the floor. I was in tons of pain, I never felt that much pain in my whole life. So my parents decided to take me to see a special orthopedic doctor at Medstar. His name is Dr. Richard Hinton, he recommended that I should have surgery to fix my problem knees. He told me that both of my knees have the same condition. I decided to have surgery for both knees. One knee at a time. In the long run I had four knees surgeries two on each knee. I went through lots of physical therapy. I have been with my physical therapist since the beginning, her name is Kimberly. Kimberly works for Medstar Physical Therapy. I can't play any sports, run,and and twist. I feel very uncomfortable about who I am. I wish I had normal knees. I have to wear a small knee brace all the time. Growling up with this disability takes lots out of me. I am embarrassed about others people opinion. After having two surgeries on my left knee, I still have problems with my knee. I am always afraid when my knee is going to slip. I can't have a normal life. I been telling everyone my left knee is not fixed. I really just wanted my left leg amputated so I don't have to worry. I did all my research about have my leg amputated. That is what I want in life. 😣🦵🏽👩🏻‍🦽‍➡️🩼
