Darumi likes the idea of kids, not having one, not taking care of it and giving up everything for your kid. She knows what intells having and caring for a kid and because her dad saw her as a burden she probably also fears all those things would make her think of her own as a burden and she doesn't want to feel that way. Understandably so, her backstory makes her this way but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy the fruits of her friends labors. Darumi is special to me 😭😭 i love you Darumi

Based off what I've seen from Retsnom (random screenshots), I think Darumi lowkey has a maternal side? But like you said, because of her past she knows she doesn't have the capacity to be the parent a child deserves. She'll have some bad days where her mental health will not let her think of others.

IF Darumi wanted a family, I think her ideal situation would be with Hiruko and her partners (depending on the timeline) and help with the kids.

Sorry quick comic. I don't like how I write Daruko; I think I make Hiruko baby Darumi too much. But the idea is still there.
