g1onne- An indie rp blog for Excella Gionne, written with love by Luna.
A study in quiet obsession, weird science, being more than just a pretty face, and naivety.
Keeping it simple. Rules under the cut, bio coming soon.
I'm an adult, over 30. If my age is a problem for you then please kindly exercise your right not to follow me. I also work full time and therefore can't be around on tumblr at all times. I will be here when time and my mental health permit. I don't check tumblr IMs unless I'm already online, so please don't be offended if I don't message back right away or something.
I'm not big on DNIs. If you have one, cool, but I personally don't. I know who I do and don't want to see and will curate my own space accordingly.
I personally prefer that RP partners of mine be over 21, but I do sometimes make exceptions. As long as you're over 18. If you do not have an approximate age/age range listed on your blog, I'm probably not going to follow you because honestly I don't want Chris Hansen showing up at my door. If you don't get that reference you're probably too young to be following me
Don't be a dick, man. That's my biggest thing. It costs nothing to be kind to people so why waste energy being nasty?
Give my muse credit where credit is due. At 26 years old, Excella was running the African branch of an international pharmaceutical company. Yeah she made some questionable choices, but she was smart enough to be running TRICELL Africa even without Wesker.
I'm multi-everything friendly. Multiverse, multiship, multimuse, you name it. I have crossover verses out the wazoo I can do so if it feels like I'm following your muse out of nowhere it's probably because I have a verse for Excella lol
sorry i disappeared there for a hot minute. it was not intentional. i wound up starting a new med that has made me sick during the adjustment period. i wound up going to the er, but i'm ultimately fine. so that brings me to the big reveal.... this also happened.....
we added to the family. meet Mochi. he's an 11 week old purebred Pomeranian. he's adorable and a sweetheart. however, he has had some health issues and we haven't been able to introduce him to our shih tzu mix, Ziggy. they have to be out at different times and not share any toys or water etc. so that's been hard juggling time for both. also i forgot how difficult raising a puppy is. i had to sleep on the living room floor one night to get him to stop crying and now my old ass has a bruised and painful hip. but it's worth it. he's doing great. he's figured out where to potty. he's learned his name. he takes his meds. he's a joyful little guy that's so happy to have his forever home. <3
so this means i will be a bit sporadic while i juggle time for my wife and gf (who is still recovering from her hospital stay and double surgery so i still have to care for her), care for both dogs, care for my cats (one of whom is pissed and i figured that because she's hated Ziggy for all 6 years of his existence) and do all my house work etc. the new med has me exhausted as is so i am really tired like all the time right now.
i still want to be here. i still want to write. i just have to admit that my time will be sporadic and limited until things start to even out. thank you for your patience and understanding.
and here's my baby boy Ziggy - who is upgraded to a psychiatric service dog as he is trained for a task (he can tell when i am and alerts me when i'm manic or going manic)
COLOR: Perhaps the most obvious comparison to be drawn between Excella and Wesker from a wardrobe standpoint lies in the outfit colors selected. Wesker wears all black– an obvious nod to darkness and evil, as well as mystery, elegance, and power. Excella wears white– the polar opposite– which can represent sterility and coldness, which are both traits we see from Excella in-game as she deals with Chris and Sheva. It is interesting to note that not only can white be a representation of godliness (see her desire to be queen in Wesker’s new world), but in Asian countries, white is also used commonly to represent mourning, grief, and loss– perhaps an allusion to the billions of expected deaths from Uroboros? Her choice of accessories in yellow gold nods to her obvious wealth, as well as the color yellow representing deceit– both her own deceit of those around her (ie the Global Pharmaceutical Consortium), and Wesker’s deceit of her.
BONDAGE: Excella’s outfit is also rife with bondage symbology. Her shoes have straps that wrap and coil around her ankles like manacles would, her belt serves as a symbol of restriction, she wears a cuff bracelet that resembles a shackle, and a large collar necklace. Even the fact that her hair is worn in an updo is a nod to a lack of freedom in one way or another. This can imply that in some ways, Excella is bound to Wesker, and to the path that he has set her on. Alternatively, since many of the pieces of the wardrobe in question are gold, it can also represent financial bondage– perhaps the type that Excella holds over Wesker. We stan a mutually toxic relationship.
HANDBAG: Her handbag is another interesting point of focus– it is the only piece of her wardrobe apart from her hair that is dark in color, which could arguably represent the fact that her money is being used for less than savory purposes. It is also made of what appears to be some manner of reptile skin– perhaps alligator. This can be regarded as a further display of wealth, as well as a display of financial power– she literally carries around her money in the body of an apex predator.
DRESS: Conversely, the decision to put her in a wrap dress implies a degree of vulnerability. Not only because wrap dresses can easily slip open or cause wardrobe malfunctions, but because Excella’s is cut particularly low, exposing her breasts and part of her stomach– soft, vulnerable areas– as well as her entire back. This represents a certain degree of blind trust– she’s not “covering” herself (literally and metaphorically), leaving herself open to attack (and accidental exposure). The wrap dress, however, is also a symbol of the 1970s feminist movement– it represents the modern, independent and ambitious woman. This, combined with the particular style of dress chosen, can be seen to represent Excella’s ambition and willingness to take risks to achieve goals. The decision to expose Excella’s breasts to a degree can be seen as maternal, if one calls back to antiquity– the breast evoked protection, love, and tenderness, rather than the raw eroticism they are commonly associated with today. This could arguably be used as a representation of Excella’s love for Wesker and her desire to nurture and protect him, when partnered with use of the PG67A/W serum.
SHOES: As mentioned previously, Excella’s shoes can be seen as a representation of bondage symbology, due to the way they coil around her ankles to lock into place. The decision to put her in high heels also can serve as a symbol of power and authority, which aligns with her position within TRICELL as well as her financial power. It is interesting to note that when originally introduced, high heels were worn by men, not women– this provides an opportunity to consider Excella’s presence in two fields traditionally seen as male-dominated: as a CEO and as a worker in a STEM field.
EARRINGS: Excella wears pearl earrings. Pearls are traditionally a symbol of beauty, and are often worn by brides to represent the start of a new chapter in life. Excella is, in many ways, beginning a new chapter both through her work with Albert and her plans to rule by his side in his new world– interestingly enough, she also wears white much as a bride would, further enforcing the marriage metaphor.
NECKLACE: Not only can Excella’s necklace also be seen as a bondage symbol due to it’s size and presumable weight, but the overall shape is representative of the very nature of what they are doing. The individual rectangular pieces can be interpreted as a representation of Earth– as opposed to circles, which represent the heavens traditionally. However, the pieces all have holes in them. The circular hole can represent the heavens, but it can also be seen as an abstract representation of the Ouroboros serpent itself, caught in an unending cycle of swallowing its own tail, going nowhere and making no progress as it eats itself. This parallels the ultimate intent of the Uroboros project– humanity destroying humanity, taking massive steps backward in the name of assumed “progress”. The circle can also be seen as a representation of God, pertaining to Wesker and his intent to ascend to godhood. Conversely, the circle can also represent the number zero, the void, nothingness– the ultimate fate of humanity should Uroboros be unleashed.
SUNGLASSES: It is interesting to note as well that in the scene where Excella moves onto the cargo ship with Wesker, she is wearing sunglasses. Wesker’s sunglasses are a staple of his wardrobe, dating back to his first appearance in the series, and are generally interpreted as a way for him to hide his less-than-human nature and as a symbol of his lies and deceit, as they hide his eyes from view. Given the context of the scene, it can be surmised that Excella may also be deceiving others to an extent– maintaining appearances that they aren’t running away or seeking cover from Chris and Sheva. Conversely, Excella’s sunglasses can also be seen as blinders of sorts– representing her limited view of what is really happening, her blindness toward her upcoming demise, or perhaps an unwillingness to accept the true nature of what unleashing Uroboros on the world will mean.
"Not looking for a relationship right now?" Excella finishes the sentence for him, using her best assumption. With the way he's stammering and carrying on, he's got to be shy..... "That's alright. We don't have to be anything serious...."
Maybe she should let him finish his sentences. But she's feeling flirty today, and he's a reasonably attractive young man, which makes him close enough to her type that he'll do nicely.

you’re magnetic, dramatic, and impossible to ignore. when you walk into a room, all eyes shift toward you, not because you demand attention, but because you naturally pull it. your love is intense, intoxicating, and tied up with ambition. you’re not afraid of power, in fact you’re drawn to it, and your relationships often blur the line between passion and strategy. some might say you thrive on chaos, but really, you thrive on intensity, the rush of being desired and desiring in return. you live loudly, and so does your love: full of fire, spectacle, and a refusal to shrink. when you love, you don’t just want someone, you want the world with them, even if it all comes crashing down.
you are special because you are the punishment. you were designed to ruin the world. you couldn't help but open that mysterious box even after your husband and his brother told you not to. your nosiness will allow war, starvation, and disease to ravish the earth. curiosity didn't just kill the cat, it killed the golden age.
