I've wanted to redo this one for a while because I did not care for how I did it the first time >:c

I've been wanting to play around more with how colors and saturation effect mood. It's gonna take a hot minute, seeing as colors are the bane of my existence, but much happier with how this came out.

This is a (redone) inspired piece by @zwiazdziarka 's fic Two Shades of Red. It's still an enjoyable read, even if Alastor's and Rosie's relationship is a bit different (they can still be besties while being worsties, right?). I'm a sucker for hanahaki fics, particularly when the love is never quite reciprocated. So if you're interested in a radirose hanahaki fic focusing on the pair's friendship, I recommend it!

Once again, go give the fic and author some love; they still deserve it

Okayokay I knoww I dont usually post rants like this on this blog but I NEED to express how glad I am about alastor getting evil again!!!

As most of us have noticed alastor and lucifer got nerfed in the series, but after watching episode 8 I think well be getting a comeback in s3!!

The way he genuinely does not give a fuck about helping charlie if it dosnet help him reminds the viewer why he REALLY wanted to help the hotel. FOR ENTERTAINMENT. When making a deal with vox he only did so to free himself from Rosie and he didn't intend to protect charlie. And right at the end what really caught me off guard was when he didnt go straight into helping charlie destroy the machine,, but he needs to make a deal with Rosie so she'd fix his staff and in return he'd help destroy the machine, meanwhile making sure he wouldnt be under Rosie's control again- since the deal was done right when the machine was destroyed. And he only goes back to the hotel to fuck with lucifer.

But did I wish we got more from that fight scene with him and vox.. yeah. I feel like alastors little voodoo doll guy things weren't used at all! They showed up for one scene and vanished from the fight immediately after. Also where alastors other larger voodoo dolls? Demons? I dunno what they are, but if you think back to s1, early in the season angel flirts with alastors voodoo demon whatever it was. A part of me wishes they were a part of the fight, but then again the fight was to prove that vox was only what other people made him. Hes nothing without his allies. In s2 alot of his songs he was in were copys of previous ones, and he couldn't conquer hell without the help from other overlords.

But I still question why alastors shadows couldn't have been used more- id probably have to go back and check but I dont remember seeing them? Surely his shadow wouldnt count as outside assistance but instead his own power.

Anyway!! Viv bring back pilot alastor,, i miss his windigo noises,, i miss when his eyes did the radio thingy,, BRING SCARY AL BACK I LOVE HIM
