Literally what you just read. I'm a nerd and I like obsessing over things as a break from reality. This blog is my outlet. Welcome to my personal madness. It's always summer here! 🌲🌳🌾🌿☀️🌫🌡 Age? 903. Place of birth? Under a rock. Pronouns? Spin the wheel >:)
It's been over a year, so I think it's time for a new welcome post...
🎉WELCOME!!!🎉
The name and bio of the blog mostly speak for themselves, but here is a quick note of explanation with pretty much everything you need to know about me (more under the cut):
I came on this site to vent about fandoms and recently also share my art or fanfiction. These are the fandoms that you may encounter on this blog:
Good Omens 🪽 (and related universes. Also I'm a massive Aziraphale fan and kinnie)
Doctor Who 🕰
Elisabeth das musical 🪭 (plus other German-language musicals)
The count of Monte Cristo ⛓️💥
Dracula🩸
20 000 leagues under the sea 🐙
Sherlock Holmes 🔎 (and BBC Sherlock)
Narnia 👑
Various musicals, like the Phantom of the Opera 🎭, Hamilton 🇺🇸, Wicked 🐒, Epic 🌊and so on
Side blogs:
@imjustagoldfish - a blog dedicated to Mycroft Holmes (from BBC Sherlock), to whom I relate for reasons. Sadly currently inactive, since I got sucked into other fandoms
@gallifreyanposting - a blog for posting all of my Loren Sherman's Circular Gallifreyan translations and designs. It's very much active, so come and say hi. We have a pretty cool gang there :)
Fanfiction:
You can find me on ao3 under the name Gabriel Dasha. I don't have too many fanfics in my CV, but I am constantly working on new ones as ideas keep haunting me. For now you can read and enjoy:
⛵️ There is a good God in Heaven who looks after honest folk (The Count of Monte Cristo)
It has been 14 years now since Edmond Dantés became the captain of the Pharaon and married the love of his life, Mercedés. Their lives couldn't possibly get any better. Their children are being raised in a house full of love and joy. But every now and then Dantés remembers something from a world long forgotten.
Or
An AU where Villefort had the decency to let Edmond go
💀 Every day a little Death (The Count of Monte Cristo, Elisabeth das musical)
Edmond Dantés is well acquainted with Death. But now that he has promised Mercedés not to kill her son, he feels closer to it than ever. It's time to decide. Will he run again or will he face his demise at the hands of the vicomte?
⚔️ Those damn golden eyes (Good Omens)
After Archangel Aziraphale escapes from his prison in Heaven and suffers the consequences, Crowley is left to face the armies of Heaven on his own (although is he really?). As a last ditch effort to tip the scales, he challenges the self procclaimed general, Michael, to a duel for the fate of humanity, during which his whole life flashes before his eyes, literally...
In other words: my humble take on the Second Coming, containing everything that I know is not likely to happen in the actual finale.

I'm a Catholic with pretty strong feelings about my religion and God, but do not for a second think I'm one of those "burn the gays" Catholics. No. Come on guys, I'm literally a Good Omens fan. All are welcome here. This blog is a safe space for everyone and anyone (unless you're agressive towards me first, then I will have to kindly ask you to leave)
Reverse Omens where angel!Crowley/Raphael/whatever-you-wanna-call-him (but I actually think Raphael is my favourite) narrowly escapes Falling on a near-daily basis with how much he questions his orders and tries to go around them if he thinks they're not really as good as Heaven thinks
and demon!Aziraphale with a heavy heart carries out everything Hell ever tells him to do because that's just how it is and he can't be disobedient, while also making sure Raphael doesn't get into trouble asking questions because he'd hate for him to Fall as well
Also demon!Aziraphale's bookshop is nice and organized, there are no trinkets lying around whatsoever and not a speck of dust on any shelf (trauma with Hell being a cluttered mess and he'd never go back there if he could help it)
And Raphael's flat is all chaotic, walls covered with artwork, maps, pictures of stars and planets, science books are lying in heaps on the floor (because Heaven is too oragnised and he never liked it all that much)
I want to add something about their personalities:
I think Raphael is quite bitchy: he is loud and straightforward, not afraid to express his opinion (as long as, in his view, it is objective and speaking up won’t cause anyone any real harm beyond annoying those around him). He’s like this with everyone. Except maybe Heaven (even God Herself doesn’t know how this idiot hasn’t fallen yet, considering how many times he has disobeyed orders, acted out, and still somehow gotten away with it).
Demon!Aziraphale is a bit calmer and more obedient to orders, although just like Raphael he does everything he can to avoid actually carrying them out—or to carry them out in such a way that no one gets hurt and Hell doesn’t suspect anything. He lies to his superiors, dodges his duties, and even takes credit for wars so they’ll leave him alone for the next century and he won’t have to come up with alternative schemes. He didn’t want to Fall, and he wants to spare Raphael from the pain of betrayal by Heaven that he himself went through. He tries to protect him as much as he can, asking him to be careful and more cautious.
Raphael, in turn, protects Azi, not letting him sink too deeply into self-hatred, guilt, and self-loathing after the Fall. Raphael keeps coming up with new, sometimes strangely inventive ways to meet Aziraphale, to share a glass of wine in Raphael’s apartment while Raphael enthusiastically talks to Azi about stars, planets, galaxies, plants, and more. (I think Raphael would also have a love for plants, like the original Crowley, but Raphael would treat them with a special kind of tenderness, gently healing sick plants—like Aziraphale—from their wounds.)
However, it is Raphael who is always behind Aziraphale. They are both each other’s bodyguards.
"Even God herself doesn't know how this idiot hasn't fallen yet" YES EXACTLYYYTY
Also more headcanons, because I need to get my ideas out, so that I can focus on my uni assignments:
Aziraphale fell because of obedience (to the wrong people obviously) and it doesn't really make sense to him, but he of course trusts the divine plan. He just wants to do his best now, to be who he is supposed to be. It-is-what-it-is kind of approach, so to speak.
Raphael tells Aziraphale he is actually nice/kind for a demon exactly once, which makes the him almost have a panic attack because "Oh no, I'm not supposed to be nice! What will Hell think of me?!" Since then, Raphael always makes sure to tell Aziraphale what a good job he's doing as a demon (while helping him cheat his assignments a bit, to do as little actual evil as possible)
For example Job: Azi hates the fact that he has to kill the goats and the children and it is Raphael who tells him "Wait, this is the Almighty's plan? Seems a bit... too evil to actually be her plan... Okay, here's what I think: change the goats into birds and the kids into lizards. That way nobody gets hurt and you will have behaved like a proper demon ought to (at least on the record)! How does that sound?"
When it comes to plants, I have also another idea. It's a popular take that Crowley treats his plants the way he feels he's been treated by Heaven (punishment way bigger than the crime). What if demon!Aziraphale loves plants too, but treats them with love and kindness and provides them validation simply for trying their best at growing, because he wishes someone gave it to him back when he was an angel?
AND ALSO
Reverse Final 15, where Raphael gets offered the Supreme Archangel position and is really excited over it, because he could finally make a difference instead of just talking about his ideas (and being ignored), while insecure little Aziraphale thinks it's a really bad idea because they shouldn't actually interfere with The Great Plan.
I agree with all of this, oh my god, I absolutely love them, my sweet ones 😭😭
The ideas with the flowers and Job just destroyed me, I’M CRYING THEY’RE SO GOOD 😭😭
About reverse!F15, I think Aziraphale wouldn’t like the idea even more because he understands that Raphael won’t actually change anything, and Heaven will still remain deaf to him. He loves his angel, and he genuinely likes that he’s trying to do everything he can to save Earth, change Heaven, and convey his ideas, etc., so that no one has to suffer anymore—but Aziraphale understands that Heaven sees Raphael as a traitor, and something here is clearly not right.
Aziraphale in canon already understands that Heaven is messed up; he’s not stupid. He just tries to do everything he can to save as many lives as possible, do what is right, and, of course, survive in the conditions he is forced to live in.
I actually want to write a scene later where reverse!Aziracrow swap bodies and pull the same scheme as the original Aziracrow, or something like that
Im thinking about how could Raphael not fall, what did he do differently from Crowley. What we know about Crowley's fall is that he hung around the wrong people, right? Now i think Raphael was just a tad bit more skeptical, was more hyperfixated on his current projects, and had more belief in how God is good, and if he could explain She would surely listen.
So when Lucifer told him that we know better than God and should rebel, cuz we are more powerful, oh and also guys, im gonna be the new leader cuz, yk, i know best, and he was just like Why? Why should we rebel? How do we know we're more powerful? How would we do it? What would we do after? Shouldn't we first talk to God? Or set up a suggestion box? Wait, do you have a suggestion box? Cuz i have a suggestion, what if we but the earth a bit to the left, the Orion nebula is gonna be sooo beautiful from there! Also when will we start the Sun?
So yeah, not long after he first tried to recruit her, Lucifer sent her to work on the Sun with a few other angels, bc as you can imagine this did not help organizing a rebellion, at all.
I think all of this talking went down in the higher circles, and Azi didnt pick up on it, as many others, and since lower ranking angels do what their superiors say, when he was handed a flaming sword and told to prepare, nervously, but he did. Best not to question the great plan. Before he could figure out which side stood for what, as a cherub he was pushed into the front lines, and had to defend himself. It all was a butterfly wing effect, and his actions were the same in both universes. (He once told Raphael the story of his fall, drunk, and that was the closest Raphael ever got to falling, bc she had to be physically restrained by Azi not to storm up, and for the first time, not just talk)
In the second season Jim showed up at Raphael's door, and he had to know what happened to him, why are his memories gone, and all that, so that he can make a well-founded decision about what to do with him. He doesnt keep him there bc he wants to help him, mind you (at the start)
Azi thinks its a bad idea (uuugh it's killing me how its always the demon versions who are more vary, and would be rather left alone than to take on an adventure, theyre so traumatized) He also believes Raphel should send him back, because for Hells sake, if he gets caught he will fall (he is constantly worried about that, for a good reason). Or give him to hell. He does mention that as a possibility, if they pretend like Raphael never seen him, and Azi brings him down, as a good demon he is. But he has mixed feelings about this, bc he saw how Gabriel talked to Raphael, before, and he would send Gabriel to hell no second thought, but this is Jim, vulnerable, trusting, and needing help.
Damn, I would love a fic covering both seasons, but in a reverse!omens setting, ahhhh!
And I just imagined that scene where Azi is drunk and reveals the story of his Fall, and Raphael is absolutely furious at Heaven — it’s just perfect!! I think I'll add something about them tomorrow:3
Ohhhh yessss, I love how this post keeps expanding 😈 *evil laughter*
I am also really in love with the idea of Az telling Raphael how he fell and Raphael almost getting into trouble for wanting justice for his friend. Agghhhaaaa good old raw emotions!!!
Also I feel like if Crowley really was the archangel Raphael (powerful and with influences), he could easily be like "Lucifer, I love u bro, but this is not a good idea. Like yeah, I'm all in for brainstorming new ideas, but a rebellion? Don't you think that's a bit too much?" He wouldn't have had to join him, because he would think that he could discuss ideas with God himself (he's an archangel after all) and he didn’t need to join the rebels to be heard.
Second of all, why is an archangel even on Earth tho? Well, he was an annoying little shit to Gabriel, Uriel and Michael. That's it. That's the whole reason. They told him "hey, you are now in charge of what's happening on Earth. It's a really responsible task, but we trust that you can handle it" and as soon as he packed his bags and left they were all like "oh God, finally some peace and quiet" XD
PS. As much as I love the Raphael headcanon, I cannot for the life of me decide what Aziraphale would be called as a demon. I've heard quite a few names, but just don't know
I was thinking about the name, and i read this amazing post by @ philosopherking1887 about Aziraphale's name
In short:
This is absolutely crazy?? He is basically called the one who helps the dissenter. 😭 His name is already a perfect demon name
Maybe if it would be "the fallen helper" it would sound similar and make sense? Only problem is i do not know hebrew :(
Okay with a bit of research i know what the "fallen" is in hebrew (nofel/she-nafal)
Azirnofel? It can still be translated to the one who helps the fallen, but. A bit of interpretation is needed.
But maybe he would want to include God? The fallen helper of God? Of God is -el attached to the end of a name. So, Azirnofelel? That sounds horrendous. Azirnafalel? Its more along the lines of the helper who fell, and still sounds bad, and too similar to the original.
Lets start tweaking it. Azirnofeel. Azirnafael. Azirofelel.
Ew. The best was still Azirnofel.
What if we take a different route. Azi also means strength, and Az means "strong," "mighty," or "fierce." Why would he name himself that? Maybe Raphael chose it for him as a confidence boost? Idk. I cant really imagine what would follow strong, but if any of you have any ideas i would love to try translating it
New idea!!
I have to include this wow. Doleful creature. Thats some emotional damage
I still wanna start with Az, Azi, Azir, so that its at least recognizable. Azoach? Aziroach? Roach. Xd. This really doesnt wanna fit
This post keeps getting longer! I have nothing to contribute— I'm just here munching on popcorn and enjoying these Reverse Omens ideas. And saving that Ao3 link to read that fic!
AND I READ THE FANFIC ON THE BUS AND IT WAS SOO GOOD! I really hope you continue writing it
also I'm adding on(because I am a sucker for muriel and Eric) that muriel and Eric's roles are swapped.
Muriel being a demon who still somehow(dont ask me how but I believe in their whimsy)still feels so much excitement and joy, albeit a lot of obliviousness and newly added ~trauma~, which leads her to constantly getting on shax, hastur, lager, and beelzebub's nerves. she was a really low level angel(37th order scrivener) when they fell, meaning that their fall wasn't caused by wanting to disobey god, but more because they were trusting and excited to finally be a part of something, after all they were for the most part ignored, and people are finally paying attention to them and talking to them(I mean in canon every thousand years someone asks them for something and thats it, so I imagine it was similar in the beginning) so they joined them, and then they were fallen. they are often exploded by hastur and shax like Eric is. they're told to storm a bookshop, and well they may happen to pick up a book out of curiosity, and the next thing they know all the other demons have left and they're in the bookshop with aziraphale and Raphael. and maybe they overhear a conversation, and maybe they're now trying to stop aziraphale from drinking holy water(Raphael gave it to him when he said something offhandedly about needing a backup plan, he tried to return it but Raphael insisted)
that was longer than expected and I did not plan to include the final fifteen, but anyway
Eric:
Eric such a low level angel who is considered "disposable", and out of bad luck whenever someone, especially the archangels, talk to him, he gets on their nerves, leading to him being mostly ignored. so he gets a little worried when he finds the matchbox in heaven, because now he have to go tell Michael and Uriel, and that never ends well for him. so he shows them the matchbox, and now he knows classified information about Gabriel being missing, so now he gets to go to earth to investigate! and down there he meets a chaotic angel and an anxious demon, who aren't constantly annoyed at him
Okay so I never thought about reverse Muriel and Eric, but it honestly sounds amazing. No, I don't ship them. I don't really have an opinion. But they could definitely be besties, and that's for sure!
ALSO RAPHAEL INSISTING THAT AZI TAKES AND KEEPS THE HOLY WATER AS INSURANCE AND AZI WANTING TO REFUSE??? DUDE!!! THIS COULD WORK SO WELL IN THE REVERSED UNIVERSE???
Also Eric and Muriel both being disposable means they both did their fair share of paperwork for new bodies, so they could've overheard some beaurocratic shit too...
Also I like that you liked the fic. I'm trying to figure out the next chapters in my free time now 😅
I cant stop thinking about this holy water idea. I mean, the complete misunderstanding of it. Raph giving it solely cuz he thinks it will help Azi if Hell would figure out that he is "fraternizing" with an angel, as a backup-plan, she does it to protect him, its not even a possibility in their head that he could use it to hurt himself. She thinks Azi only refused bc he still thinks as a demon he cant accept help from an angel.
But from Azi's perspective, he knows himself enough to know with his suicidal tendencies he cant be trusted with something like that in his bad moments (i mean even in canon, he was the one who immediately thought "insurance" meant Crowley using it on himself) I dont think he would think that Raph is giving it to him as suicide pill, but theyre still not close enough for him to feel comfortable sharing why he wont accept it, and Raph insists, so he takes it.
Imagine, while Muriel tries to force Azi away from the holy water, Eric comes back (mainly bc when Azi told him they would need some alone time, he just went outside. Thats it, he is just standing next to the door, bc for him thats what leaving someone alone means. So he hears everything. And when an unknown demon enters a picture after Raph went up, he interferes) He fairly quickly realizes whats happening, and with Muriel, they make a plan.
Imagine how guilty Raphael would feel once they hear what happened. That he almost lost Aziraphale. Forever. To the holy water he insisted he gave him. Because of how she left. Damn.
Also I made a gif of the Reverse Every, because yes
I will never say a bad word about animators cuz do yall know how many (unnecessary) frames this took???
What I love most is that Az has to basically pull Raphael down a bit (or stand on his toes, but either way it's beautiful lol). And Raphael is surprised at first, his hand is literally shaking, but (just like Aziraphale in the original) closes is eyes and gives in, even putting a hand on Azi's shoulder.
Also can you believe this is actually the first time I've drawn anyone kissing?
Okay, this isn't really headcanons. This is a bunch of questions that I have ran into, while thinking about the reverse story. And random thoughts on the topic. If anyone has any ideas, you are very welcome to shoot
1) Who gets discorporated in s1 and how? I mean I think the most logical answer would be Raphael, because he would totally be the one to contact "the highest authority" and then accidentally step into his own portal. But then... does the bookshop still burn down? Or does Raphael's flat? Idk
Maybe Raphael uses Aziraphale's bookshop for the portal. That way both things happen at once - Raph gets discorporated and the bookshop burns down (and Aziraphale suffers even more)...
2) What about the Bentley? I mean I have already referenced Raphael not liking horses in my fic (Crowley didn’t like horses, that's why he loved cars, once they of course got invented), so I suppose Raph could also be a fan of 4 wheels...
3) Does Aziraphale get kicked out of the bookshop or Raphael out of his flat in s2? Or does neither happen? And what is Shax doing?
I mean the bookshop would be pretty useful, to hide Jim or organise the Jane Austen ball... oh right... what about that whole plot point?
4) What the hell happens in 1941???
I mean I get that Aziraphale wanted to be oh so evil and smuggle books for the nazis, but then what?
1) So Ralph sets up the summoning circle(bc at his core he still believes that God is Good and Fair and wouldnt want armageddon(this is also why he doesnt fear God smiting him down for asking questions, bc he believes every demon has done something truly vile, even if as a mistake, like he thinks Aziraphale, which is peak angst)), lights the candles, but the angels arrive (they have the photos) and startle him. He jumps, loses his balance, and steps into the circle, effectively knocking over one of the candles in the process.
While Azi, who has demons coming for him, and quite a generous amount of Holy Water, decides to fight. He would kill both Hastur and Ligur without a second thought, and not with elaborate plans, but with water guns, where he is the one who pulls the trigger. I mean, he might not be too keen on hurting innocents, but Hastur and Ligur are definitely not innocent. And lets not forget how he suggested to kill Adam, for The Greater Good, and only didnt do it cuz he is the good guys, and Crowley is the one who is supposed to do that. I'm sure these tendencies of his would only get stronger as a demon, since now he IS supposed to do that. (I do believe Crowley had to talk him out of offing Warlock, and later Adam)
Now, he leaves the demon goop and the empty holy water bottle, and goes to tell Raph that he just found out where the Antichrist is. Where he finds a burned down apartment (the nearby ones are damaged as well, some people died, Adam will revive them tho) He is angry, and devastated.
In this time, Raph finds himself up in heaven, and with angels demanding he lead angels into battle. He obv says nopppe and goes back to the bookshop, (since thats where he thinks Azi is) still discorporated, where he finds 1) holy water remains 2) demon goop. And maybe one of Azi's personal belongings, that accidentally dropped in? Like idk. His bowtie. Or something. So he draws.the conclusion, either his best friend was killed or he killed himself.
Funsies!
They find each other when Azi goes back to the bookshop, heartbroken, in a nothing-matters-anymore gonna use the remaining holy water mood, juuust in time to catch Raph (or not that could also be fun) before she goes Up and Fucks Shit Up because how dare they kill his best friend.
Also they cant hug cuz Raph is still discorporated. Tho i always wanted to see what would have happened if they shared a corporation, so i think that could be great, bc now both are traumatized and dont wanna lose the other at all, which they cant in the same body.
So yeah i mightve thought about this a bit too much, you dont have to use anything tho ofc
Woah... Am I still writing this fanfic or are you?
I mean, obviously this is a joke. The finale and the subsequent chaos has made me avoid opening tumblr and just living my best life in "the outernet", distracting myself with books and new tv shows (I started Rivals), but I have been writing the next chapter in my google docs in my free time. And your ideas are great (love the angst) and I'd love to steal them if I can 😅
Tbh ive never written a fanfic (save for a selfship at roughly 13 😭) bc i didnt feel like my english is good enough, and also cuz i couldnt find the motivation, nor the starting idea, but turns out if i have that and the motivation of other people actually liking what i write (crazy) i love to come up with ideas. Im still unsure abt the actual writing tho xdd the actual wording part feels intimidating, and its a long process
I think the best part of this entire situation is that I got so excited, took a screenshot, came here to flex and when I opened pinterest again it reloaded and I never got to save this pin

And your ideas are great (love the angst) and I'd love to steal them if I can 😅
Does anyone remember this one meme that was making fun of Crowley in s1 for hurriedly apologising then saying they should go to Alpha Centauri and then saying "get in the car". The one that was all like "What are you gonna do, Crowley, drive there??" and followed by an image of a rocket bentley in the sky?
So recently I've been feeling overwhelmed with thoughts of the Good Omens finale and seeing other people's opinions is not helping in the slightest. And while I'm more than happy with the positive feedback under my peacemaking posts (you are all very lovely), I still encounter a lot of negativity about the finale and even the whole series.
Basically I came to the conclusion that I need to touch some grass. I restricted my own daily tumblr and twitter screentime, so you might see me less active than I was before. It's been 3 days since I did that and, let me tell you, I was instantly relieved.
10/10 experience, would recommend to everyone actually
And I started reading "Broadchurch" (yes, I got the book and it’s brilliant)
See you all more properly when the dust has settled, whenever that may be. Don't ruin the hellsite while I'm gone.
Btw this is a great time to pivot to the Book Omens fandom where Crowley and Aziraphale will always canonically be alive and well and dining at the Ritz.
love how when i get a new interest, i’m like “oh god it’s happening again” and i’m stuck like that for about a week until everything explodes and any interest i’ve had prior is completely dwarfed for an unknown amount of time
