I turned anon off. I am tired of this situation.

I’ve turned anon off on tumblr. I didn’t want to answer the anon here because affects third parties (Other swen). I will just say that I’m sick of this hate towards me and the fanart I do.

This bullying is pissing me off. I am a strong person, but these anon are stupid and hurt like a bitch. I am aware this is what you are trying but I won’t stop making fanart only because you don’t like what I do or because you think I am not worthy to make “Lana and Jmo” fanart or because you think other artists are better than me and I don’t deserve the likes and reblogs and comments from people.

Let me tell you, anon, this is not a competition, how many fanartist there are in this fandom more cool it will be. I have never wanted or tried to compete with other fanartist or writers in this fandom, besides I love making collabs with people and I AM ALWAYS PROMOTING OTHERS!.

However there must be some artists and writers’ friends who feel that I am not worthy to be in this fandom and tell me, with these messages, what kind of fanart I can’t make or insult me, telling me why I choose always the same writer and not others who are more talented than her.

I have been all this year trying to be patient and I haven’t said any word about what’s happening here after reading private convos (screenshots) talking about me and the reasons why I have to give up and leave the Swanqueen fandom.

I know that I am not the best fanartist or vidder, BUT I LOVE WHAT I DO, I AM IN LOVE WITH WHAT I DO, be good or not I love making all this, I feel that passion that others (like these anons) don’t have. I don’t do all this to get RT, reblogs or likes. Despite what some people think. I do this because I love creating new things, I love seeing how an idea makes reality in a video or with a fanart.

I could say “I give up and leave the fandom” but I won’t give you that satisfaction because somehow I’ve earned the respect I think I deserve in this fandom.

PS: I am not feeling this way because of this single message. I have got a lot of this messages all this year, about fanart, about videos based on other fanfics, etc etc etc. If you are wondering that I am overreacting because of this, try to be in my shoes and read more than 63 messages telling you stuff like this, telling you what things you must upload or what things you can’t.

Hello guys! First of all I want you to send a massive hug and a big THANK YOU for all the amazing support I have every single day. I am really happy to hear you love the stories I create, because I know that I am not the best editing videos or something like that and despite that, you see what I am trying with every video I create: make you feel something watching it and for me this is the most important thing. Be kind with others

All of us see fanart everyday on twitter and tumblr. We love it! But it doesn’t mean you have to repost it or claim it like your own fanart just to get recognition. There are a lot of people that have good intentions and they take it down when you explain this to them, there are a good people in this fandom, amazing ones but there are Swen who are rude and they only want one thing: recognition thanks the work from other Swen who spend hours doing that.

If you want to know how hard it is, then open photoshop, took photos and make a fanart. We don’t do magic, there are a lot of hours, days, months and years practising. My first fanart was horrible but as I loved it I never gave up. I am not the best making fanart or videos pfftt of course not!!!!!, I don’t mind if you don’t like it, what I do I do it because I love it and When I finish it I always ask my wife “do u think swen will like this?” I love making this for you guys! And see how rude people take it for their own benefit… Hurts a lot. They take your vision and the intention and they ruin it.

There are not so many vidders or fanartist due to all this. And if we talk about writers happens the same because people are rude. It’s okay if you don’t like a fanart, vid or fanfic. And to get contrusctive criticism is okay too but send hate just to send hate is not okay. We are people with feelings and if you don’t like it, then please tell me if you see me in a con or a swen meet up or send messages with your nickname but its so easy doing that behind a computer and sending an anon or guest. Be brave and do it with your real name!

This is not a competition. Talking with Kayryn, WillowHermione, Hunnyfresh, pinkrabitt, napfreak, apples a day, Caylin etc etc is amazig and share opinions and learn from each other. There are Swen who think this is a competition and There are swen who think it is. It’s sad to get messages from people who tell me “oh god you talked to me” and I am surprised bc I say “why?” And the answer is “because there are popular swen who will never answer to swen like me!” Yeah amazing because there are not populars or regular swen we are in the same level because honestly wr are not healing illness or something like that. Just make fanart.

Selina is a good example. She didn’t make fanart but now she is pretty good making fanart. And it would be amazing to see there are more fanartist, vidders and writers. No matter what if you think you are not good. Its not a competition its just sharing stuff and enjoy with them. But be kind and don’t take fanart from others, don’t be rude with others because this fandom has to be a good place to stay. And not liviing a nightmare and getting death threats. No one deserves that.

Well guys, few weeks ago I told OUAT REPORTER (YouTube channel) that they were taking manips made by @willow-hermione and my manips too.

On twitter they have told me that it’s on internet, so it’s free and they have the RIGHT to take those manips to make their own videos.

Make a manip of two seconds takes hours, yeah guys, HOURS, and checking tutorials and a lot of patience. We do this because we love it, of course but I think that no on has the right to take it and claim it as their own work (and this is what they are doing because they are removing watermarks)

Perhaps you are thinking “these artists and vidders are always saying and complaining about the same damn thing” yeah maybe but it’s because it hurts a lot. Yeah it hurts because we put all what we have, our passion to make this, to make something different and new and this way you can see Emma and Regina kissing to each other, hugging to each other and seeing them in other scenarios making these manips. it hurts because we love what we do, not to get RT or Reviews or comments, we do this because WE ADORE WHAT WE ARE DOING but It doesn’t mean that we don’t care when people take our stuff to make their videos or to publish them in their channels. This is not right, this is not respecting at all the hard work we are doing here.

We have “lost” a lot of fanartist and vidders due to all this and honestly, when this happens, when you see your work in other videos, in other context, ruin your work and the vision you had and make you give up.

And the worst thing is the lack of respect they have, they laugh at your face telling you that this is on internet so it’s free to take it and use it. The worst thing is you can’t do anything and the frustration as artist starts to grow up inside you and you only want to give up and not making more videos or fanart anymore. But when this frustration disappears you realize you love what you do and you can’t stop making fanart or videos about swanqueen, it’s our passion and you sit down for hours in front of the computer until other people do the same, again.

We can’t do anything, we can’t do so much. Only you, the person who watch our videos or enjoy the fanart can do something. It helps to know that you are not alone and the rest of the fandom supports you.

I am gonna leave you the link of this channel and if you love what we do, you’d stop to watch these videos made with work from others. I am tired these people always win the battle, just because we can’t do anything.
