I heard there was some anti-AerTi going around and I’m a super AerTi shipper. I have been ever since I was introduced into FF7. So if you’re like me and you love AerTi, or perhaps if you just want to see if AerTi even has enough to be supported as a legit ship instead of a crack ship, then look no further.
This was released on valentines day.
But that’s not all, how about some quotes to see if it’s possible Aerith and Tifa could have something special?
Shortly after meeting they finish each other’s sentences.
Cloud: I probably don’t need to ask but the other girl is……
Me…… right?
Tifa: You’re right, there was no need…
Shortly after meeting Aerith, Tifa admits to being fond of her and speaks as though it’s difficult to not be fond of Aerith.
It’s just that…I was displeased at the way Cloud and another girl soon became good friends.
Well, Aerith is a very good girl, I was fond of her soon, too. No wonder…
Besides, what really makes me angry is this fellow, Don Corel!

Tifa obviously thinks Aerith is an attractive woman to mention how angry she is that Don ignored both of them and went for a man in drag instead.
While I’m at it….Tifa’s reaction to Aerith’s death.
Tifa’s reaction to her death is the most heartwrenching out of the entire party next to Yuffie.
And since some claim Cloud’s heart broke when she died, Tifa’s heart is actually described as being torn apart.
Tifa went to see Aerith together with her companions. Aerith, who was now at the bottom of the Forgotten City’s spring. The planet she saved in exchange for her life would surely be all right now. That’s what they were told. Tifa heard a voice asking if she was all right. She didn’t know if it was Aerith’s voice or her own. She wept. Right after Sephiroth took Aerith’ life, she hadn’t grieved at all. She had been sad, but she channeled her sadness into anger and hatred for the enemy. But the pain she felt when she visited the place tore her heart apart. While enduring the pain, she thought to herself how she was made this way by being part of a large group of people and an AVALANCHE member. She overflowed with tears again.
Aerith and Tifa’s bond is very strong. Tifa was also the only one in the group who actually understood Aerith.
Aerith who TOLD Cloud that she would come back after everything, literally told him that straight, and he’s like “Oh she wanted to give her life for the planet” where Tifa corrects him and actually tells him she believed Aerith was planning to come back.
Tifa: I wonder what Aeris felt… when she was on that altar…?
Cloud: I’m sure she wanted to give her life for the planet…
Tifa: Really? I wonder? I don’t think that’s it at all.
I think she didn’t think she would die at all, but that she planned on coming back all along.
She always used to talk about the ‘Next time’.
She talked about the future more than any of us…
Although she never talked about it to us she must’ve had a rough life…
I think Aeris looked forward to tomorrow and the future more than anyone…
…she must’ve had many many dreams……
And while I’m at it….we’ve been told what Tifa’s TRUE feelings for Aerith are.

Tifa and Aerith are also described as CLOSE FRIENDS. They also frequently spend time together through the course of the game.
As for Aerith, she hopes that not only Cloud, but also Tifa isn’t pushing herself too hard.
“I wonder if Cloud and the others are all right… I hope Tifa and Cloud aren’t pushing themselves too hard going after Sephiroth…” -Maiden Who Travels the Planet.
She mentions Tifa before Cloud in her train of thought.
While I’m at it, Itadaki Street didn’t only have tons of cloti in it, it also showed Aerith and Tifa’s true dynamic. Even Tifa getting angry at Cloud for insulting Aerith.
Cloud: What…? Or I should say I wasn’t listening
Aerith: Tifa’s amazing isn’t she! Right, Cloud?
Aerith calling Tifa amazing.
Cloud: Aerith came last did she. We’re not gonna get bankrupt are we
Tifa: Hey Cloud! Don’t say such a horrible thing!
Tifa: I never knew Aerith had such talent! I’m astonished!
Cloud: Yeah. … Can’t believe she sells flowers for living
Aerith: Tifa will make a good wife
Cloud: I wonder who… Tifa likes?
Also in ACC how out of all of AVALANCHE, Aerith only bothered to make herself known to Tifa, who could sense her with the waterdrop, to where Tifa smiles upon being aware of her.
Aerith also agrees with Tifa. As Tifa says “Dilly dally, shilly shally” Aerith agrees and repeats her same thing. “Dilly dally shilly shally”
There’s plenty of evidence to support AerTi. They were very close friends, and Tifa was Aerith’s first and only female friend.
