It’s been mega long since I’ve posted, but I really love all the characters I’ve posted on here. Drawing takes a bunch of motivation and time for me, so doddles are all I can do usually. The comic has been majorly halted; and I havent worked on it in months. I hope during college I’ll be able to work on the story further while enveloping it in my coding classes. I had a lot of fun drawing this !! Milotek is the prettiest in the team, but Ruziel is the cutest in my opinion

My brother was diagnosed with depression years before I was, and because of that he started therapy years before I did.

I still remember when I was a young teen and he was playing a Nirvana song and he stopped it at this one line: “I miss the comfort of being sad”

He told me that when you start to get better, there’s a part of you that misses being sad and that if you start feeling that way you have to be extra extra aware and careful because if you indulge the feeling you’ll go down a self-destructive spiral

And even though that was years and years ago, I think about it all the time. Especially when I’m reading discourse on the idea of getting so attached to mental illness as an identity that you don’t want to improve things because you feel safe in it and don’t know who you are without it

I always think of that line “I miss the comfort of being sad” and my brother’s warning

Here’s a turn around for a character in my [potential] comic “One More Day”, Caspian.  He’s an optimistic and bubbly character who isn’t seen much because he’s always out doing *something*  Whatever it is, he seems like he’s having fun

Here’s a turn around for aCharacter in my [potential] comic “One More Day”, Rain.  He’s a dense and excitable character who has a lot of questions. He has a tad obsession with cats, but it’s fine. He works at a book store, and probably is reading the books more than doing his actual job.
