                 He’s exceptionally stressed out.  With his return to Earth, a whole bundle of problems have since arisen, the most concerning being the way his race have scattered themselves across the cosmos.  If he doesn’t find a way to entice them back home soon, there are going to be a lot of feral Eyeless wandering God knows how many realms, and that’s something that nobody wants.  They’re all things he’d considered long before conjuring up the plan in the first place, but it doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.  Is Moko doing alright?  Why do you care?

I do love these guys but the fact of the matter is:  I love Crow so much fucking more now.  Time spent on these guys is short because I have another OC I want to focus on so much more, and I give so much more of a fuck about him.  I do care about The Eyeless, and Mike Harmon’s continued existence, and the lore surrounding the Inside-Out, but every time I go into it I feel a longing to go back to Crow.

what is a fantasy your muse has?

Black Hands isn’t that much of a sexual creature.  He originates from a specie where sex does not exist, because their makers create new members of the race with their powers.  None of them give birth or procreate, and they have no concept of recreation due to being created for one purpose and one purpose only:  to collect knowledge on their given ‘branch’.  That being said, Black Hands is the defect of the bunch so he actually does possess human attributes and one of those is indeed a sex drive.  His libido is generally very low.  He went millenniums without sex, and didn’t even partake in masturbation because, though he was curious, it was on a purely  ‘’Oh, this is something humans do.  I find humans very interesting.’’  level.  His appetite for sex didn’t actually kickstart until he started getting involved with Noname, the demon which is now his full-time partner.

Anyways, that was just a little preface since I know I’ve talked and talked and talked about the Eyeless and the race’s attributes and one of those is indeed that they don’t have sex.  TL;DR:  Black Hands is a rare case.

Anyways-Anyways, one of Black Hands’ ‘’fantasies’’, if you can call it that as it’s based mainly on curiosity and not sexual hunger, is that he wants to see how much stimulation he can take before he quite literally melts.  Though he has a chosen form, it is not solid.  With enough force, it can give way, becoming ‘gloop’ which then reforms when he sees fit / damage is healed / his energy returns.  He wants to see if there’s any amount of sexual pleasure that causes his form to give out.

      black  hands  headcanon   /   minor  appearance  differences.  *

Black Hands has always been special in that he was the first of his kind to be able to act independently of his rulers’ command.  They kind of knew about it, labelling him ‘’defective’’ and instructing the rest of the race to ostracise him in the hope that he would disappear on his own, but they didn’t know the extent of his power.  Their mistake was assuming that, just because BH possessed emotions and wouldn’t fall in perfect line within their hive-mind, he was weak and incapable. 

As such, when The Watchers were overthrown, Black Hands didn’t undergo that many physical changes, unlike other Eyeless that began to sprout identifying / distinguishable features as a direct result of not being under control any more.  However, there are a couple of things about him that have changed:

He has gained little white stripes beneath his eyes.  They glow faintly, though seem to have no use.  Aldono is lowkey looking into it behind the scenes.  He thinks they may be symbols of purity, though has not reached any proper conclusion yet.

Similarly, his wrists and ankles / the tip of his tail, depending on the form taken, have thin white bands around them.  Again, they glow faintly but do not seem to have any other use.  His left hand--  the hand he used to physically bond with Mike--  also sports a strange white spot.  His other hand is unchanged.

In short, Black Hands has largely come home unaltered, though some parts of his body now bear strange symbols and markings.  Aldono and Deko have been looking into it together without his knowledge.  Much to Deko’s chagrin, she has speculated that they may be appearing as a means of ‘’telling his prophecy’’.  It isn’t uncommon for special Eyeless to host markings as a direct result of their work.  For example, Aldono has some mural-esque markings that vaguely detail his destructive power, like an incredibly brief storyboard;  Mili possesses a few wispy markings, like brush strokes, along where her ‘’spine’’ would be that vaguely dub her ‘’The Magician’’ in a crude phonetic translation of their ancient language;  and Deko possesses a vague marking that kind of resembles a pair of scissors on the back of her neck.  ‘’Special’’ Eyeless are pre-determined by The Watchers and marked accordingly in order to symbolise their contributions to the race.  All of them have one thing in common:  their branches of knowledge are incredibly valuable.  If these markings that Black Hands has sprouted upon the removal of The Watchers’ influence are to symbolise his branch--  that branch being emotional intelligence--  then he is one of those special few that was incredibly powerful from the start.

                 The Eyeless blinks his empty eyes slowly, head cocked to one side.  Aldono has never consulted him regarding important decisions.  Until now, he’s kept his work and his visitation completely separate.  Though he’d been grateful for the aid--  he wouldn’t have been able to go forth with the revolution if not for his platoon’s support--  he’d continued to man the project alone behind closed doors.  The Eyeless somewhat respect him as a leader, given his status as the fabled ‘’war hero’’, so it’s no surprise that he’s considering taking over himself.

                 ❛ You mean...  about the Inside-Out? ❜

                 ❛ Yes, ❜     Aldono replies with a solemn nod.     ❛ As of now, most of The Eyeless are completely stranded.  They’ve scattered themselves like diseases across the cosmos.  They need a place to come back to.  We have to build a society of some sort, otherwise we will have done all of this work for nothing. ❜

                 The small creature looks thoughtful, a hand momentarily stroking beneath his pointed chin until he snaps his fingers.     ❛ Well, let’s try the Earth-Way!! ❜

                 ❛ The...  Earth-Way? ❜

                 ❛ Yeah!! ❜     Black Hands nods eagerly, beaming from ear to ear.     ❛ Let’s run a democracy!!   We can stand in as ‘’leaders’’ for the meantime, just to impose some new guidelines and explain everything to everyone, and then we can hand it over to the people!!  ❜     He takes note of Aldono’s uncertain expression.  The elder clearly isn’t swayed, though he doesn’t appear to have a fitful counter to his plan.     ❛ Anno, if we want to build a society of independent beings, we have to start by treating them as individuals.  There’re  so many things different Eyeless could be good at and we have no clue yet because of the way things were before!!  We should open decisions to the public if we want to promote freedom.  Humans are at their happiest when they discover things they’re good at and have passion for.  We should find each Eyeless’ own individual talents and utilise them in order to strive for a happy future!!  ❜

                 Aldono maintains his silence.  All in all, though he has come to appreciate the runt’s pursuit of the greater good, he knows that most won’t-- can’t--  see it the same way as him.  Most of them don’t have emotions, most of them have no concept of happiness, and so if one thing is to crumble in translation then the whole place will collapse.  Of course he’d given thought to the what then? of overthrowing The Watchers, but it’s much different now that the consideration is concentrated and on a clock.  If they don’t implement something soon, their work is going to suffer for it.  With no better ideas in store, the war hero resorts to a feeble nod of his head, a wary look cast at the ground as his mouth forms a thin, uneasy line.
