There are a few different methods for achieving a jogless join when knitting in the round, and they all share the same basic principle: casting on an extra stitch and then combining it with the first cast-on stitch.
Some knitters knit these two stitches together, others pass the extra stitch over the first cast-on stitch. My favourite method, however, is the reverse: passing the first cast-on stitch over the extra stitch. 👉 This way all the strands along the lower edge end up pointing in the same direction 🧶
