I didn’t know your heart could be sad...
Now I know..
You know,
I think it’s kinda rude of UBER and Lyft drivers to have religious sermons playing in their cars when picking someone up. Normally I don’t really care but today I wasn’t in the mood to hear it. Also, I think it’s disrespectful because not everyone shares the same religious views. It’s one thing to play it on your own time, you do you, 🙏 but if you’re working I don’t think it’s cool. Furthermore, I think playing religious music is one thing because some of the time it is pretty general (meaning it could be a song about anyone if you didn’t know it was religious) but a whole sermon?
I miss you. I have to write it on here so I don’t text you again. I’m drunk. I need you to make me feel whole again.

So this shit stain @travel-story has been taking photographers’ photos and uploading them without any credit what so ever. Including at least 3 that belonged to my friend @dennybitte.
Denny followed @staff‘s stupid convoluted process for reporting these photos and all they did was remove the posts.
Instead of banning shit stains like this guy @staff instead promotes them and allows them to thrive. Whereas other blogs that properly source their uploads and make sure to credit the photographer get shut down after only a couple of complaints.
Photographers of Tumblr, please check that shit stain’s blog to see if he has stolen any of your photos and if he has please make sure to report him.
Mother fucker.
I like how 1. You have already seen the fucking movie 2. Your bitch ass can sit there and annoyingly comments throughout /all/ of the intense/good scenes causing me to miss parts and when I get annoyed it's no big deal But when I get all excited in one scene all of a sudden I need to be quiet? No, fuck you.
simple self-care ideas
Light a candle. You can buy one for a good price (and support childhood literacy) here or learn how to make your own here.
Read your favorite book, or find a new one!
Buy a cheap set of water colors and follow a tutorial. Here are a few to check out.
Go on a walk. Practice mindfulness. Look at the texture of the grass, of the leaves on the tree. What do you smell? What do you hear?
Set aside 30 minutes. Make a playlist. Dance alone in your room. Clothes are optional.
Make holiday cards to send to a local children’s hospital or nursing home. Not only do you get to spend some time with yourself being creative, you also get to put a smile on a stranger’s face.
At the end of the day, write down two positive things that happened that day and two things that you learned that day.
Check out your Amazon wishlist. Buy yourself one thing from it that you’ve been really wanting for awhile.
Cook a healthy lunch for yourself. Eat it outside or in a sunlit room. Here are some easy recipes.
Take a few minutes out of your day to stretch. It feels great and your body will thank you.
Go through your social media pages. Get rid of any ‘friends’ who stress you out or are consistently negative. It’s easy to do on Facebook; you can unfollow people without having to unfriend them!
Meditate. Even if it’s for only ten minutes, meditate. If you’ve never meditated before or are newer to the practice, find a guided meditation on Youtube to follow along with.
Call a friend or family member you haven’t talked to in awhile. I’m sure your grandma wants to hear from you.
Pick a small bouquet of flowers. Put in a vase in a window or give to someone you love.
Take a trash bag to a local park. Pick up litter. Recycle if possible!
Learn how to blend your own tea. Try different combinations. Drink them.
Make lists. What are your favorite movies? What countries and cities would you like to visit? What are your favorite things to do in the winter?
Plant a garden.
Dye your hair!
Check out Duolingo and teach yourself a new language.
Work on your memory skills. Try memorizing the NATO phonetic alphabet, state capitals, or a famous speech.
i am so here for friends who randomly start typing and sending paragraphs at me. like it doesnt matter if youre excited about something or if you just wanna talk a lot about a specific thing. im so here for that. its all interesting & i wanna hear
The Orlando City Soccer Club’s new stadium includes a beautiful memorial honoring the victims of the massacre at Pulse. 49 seats are arranged together in a rainbow, each representing one of the victims.
“We put them in Section 12, obviously because we felt that was pertinent — it was June 12 last year when the tragedy happened,” said Phil Rawlins, the team’s founder, while standing before the purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red rows. A stamp in the center of each seat reads #OrlandoUnited.
“So they’re right here in Section 12, they’re right down by the benches. They’ll certainly be seen by everybody inside the stadium, and a very significant reminder of that day,” he said.
The seats will be a permanent memorial at the stadium. Breathtaking. (via the Huffington Post)
The ACLU said it has a "significant fight ahead" in combatting anti-transgender laws.
Lawmakers in Virginia have pre-filed a bill they call the Physical Privacy Act. Like some other bills with the word “privacy” in the title (sigh), it’s meant to limit the rights of transgender people, including students in public schools.
But this bill does more than your average anti-trans measure.
First, like bills such as North Carolina’s HB2, it forces trans people to use public bathrooms that match their sex assigned at birth. Second, it allows people who encounter a trans person in a restroom to sue the state for “physical and emotional pain and suffering,” which all but incites a witch-hunt against trans people. Last, it forces schools to out trans students to their parents.
Chase Strangio, staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union’s LGBT and HIV project, said Virginia’s new bill is a Frankenstein’s monster, comprised of parts HB2, other anti-trans legislation introduced nationwide and even some bills that failed to pass Virginia’s legislature in last year’s session.
He couldn’t recall a bill that combined an anti-trans bathroom bill with a provision requiring student outing, though he has seen them separately. For instance, Texas just proposed its own bill to limit transgender people’s access to bathrooms, and the state’s attorney general also wants schools to out trans students. Strangio said that even if the bill does not pass, transgender Virginians will feel the effects of seeing lawmakers “demonize” them and try to remove them from public life.
“The trans community internalizes the message that we are not welcome in any aspect of public life from schools to government buildings to universities,” Strangio said. “That’s the explicit message that these bills send.“
I am in awe that elected officials find this appropriate and necessary. This will cause trans people, especially trans youth, irreparable harm.
I think it’s worth noting that our Governor has said he will veto this bill and also just signed an executive order extending protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity to people employed under contractors the state works with.
But yes, this bill is horrible and of course it was introduced by Bob Marshall, the epitome of horribleness. Danica Roem, a trans journalist, is running as a Democrat against Bob Marshall, though there will be a primary before the general election.
Virginia votes for governor in an off-off year election, so I really hope people will turn out to vote this year (2017) and vote down ticket. Also, vote in primaries and special elections! It’s important.
