Sungyeol, in his mind a complete chaos of thoughts, softly smiles as he hears Myungsoo’s question if he wants to go on a date with him.
To be honest, Sungyeol just went for that kiss, he noticed how Myungsoo had looked at it, but he also was just curious to how it feels. The tall boy had his crushes during high school and he also dated a few times, but he found it wasn’t for him. At least, that’s what he thought back then. Here he is 5 years later, kissing his best friend.
And because he was curious what it’d be like he’s nervous. Nervous because it doesn’t feel weird, it actually feels quite good, much to Sungyeol’s surprise. His mind can’t be more of a chaos than it is right now, so he’ll give himself time to get things straight - to figure it out - and he’s sure Myungsoo will give him that time as well.
So maybe to help the process of figuring things out, of figuring his feelings out Sungyeol slowly nods his head. He’s not old-fashioned, getting into a relationship doesn’t necessarily need to begin with dating but in their case - in Sungyeol’s case - it might be for the better. But he chuckles at Myungsoo’s greed, pulling him for another kiss, trying to memorize what it feels like. He slowly moves his lips against Myungoo’s, his hand still caressing the other’s cheek and he shyly smiles into the kiss. Just when he wants to deepen the kiss, the streetlights outside turn on and in their room too, the lights turn off - startling Sungyeol.
Blushing madly he lets himself drop next to Myungsoo, tugging the sheets up to his nose so he can hide his red face. One of the things that made Sungyeol a bit more confident about trying and figuring out how he feels about Myungsoo was that the latter couldn’t see his face properly, because if he had Sungyeol’s sure he was way too shy to even initiate their first kiss.
Closing his eyes - all the thinking makes his head tired - Sungyeol makes himself comfortable before turning to the side, fluttering his eyes open to look at Myungsoo now his cheeks are a lot less red than they were before. “Yes, I really want to do this. And a date with you sounds good” he smiles lazily. “Maybe that’ll help me too, figuring out what it is what I am feeling right now.” The tiredness taking over his body and mind make that the last few words were barely a mumble, as the tall, confused boy slowly falls asleep.
