Donnie lacked emotion significance in the movie and im so upset about it.

Like leo was obviously the main part, yes, i understand that. But Raph and Mikey also had main emotional roles and Donnie lacked one this time. His only role was "ooo, i get to be a spaceship". I get it, sure, but theres an extent where you have to acknowledge that he did not withhold equal roles to the others.

April had her goo, it was the solution to disintigrating the krang.

Mikey had his mystic powers and general optimism.

Raph was the big brother who got hurt and became the push needed.

Leo was the main role.

What was Donnie's point, even? Like he seemed so insignificant at certain parts. His exposed shell? It was just there to be there. His loss of mystic powers? Not a huge thing for him, which makes sense given how the show has treated his reaction to the mystic powers, anyways.

I dont know. Im just disappointed. Even Splinter seemed to make sense with his canon show character. More in the background but ultimately a large influence. All Donnie had was being a spaceship and asking why Casey had tech with his trademark. Those and I guess the whole, "how would you rate the retreat/being saved," schtick.
