Luke, Sunshine, Diadems / Raiden & Sekhmet

Sekhmet’s costume surely put a bit of distance between herself and other partygoers, with the wired skirt sticking out as she bobbed vigorously to the beat. As much as she knew she should be behaving herself at her first official event as city council member, she couldn’t hide the unamused look on her face, watching the crowd with a slightly irritated, if not condescending stare.
Her hair was done up in dramatic acid green plaids, embellished by bits of colorful confetti sticking out of the grooves. It was her little secret, her last source of joy for the evening, and with the reassurance that gave her, she settled a little better with a drink in hand, tasting the mischief and deceit thick in the liquid. Spiked? Some of the childish games the little ones come up with; oh, how she would hate that before. Now it was all quite amusing, and the change of mindset had her cruising by her new life here.
But what she needed was big fun. Adult fun. By adults she meant someone who was probably around her age. Where would she find that? “Some ball, eh?” She spoke seemingly to no one, but she had noticed the figure that lingered within her proximity, possibly thinking of the same thing. She wouldn’t try to guess, though. She tended to implant thoughts nastier than intended into the minds of others.
Raiden, unpredictable and without going unnoticed like thunder, had already done his own, however, dancing (a poor attempt, to clarify), talking, and drinking didn't meet his expectations. Was he the only one left wanting more?
He left his empty glass on the tray and grabbed another one, he had lost count of how many of those he had had that night, but there was no need to keep track, right? The god directed his sight towards the voice, whoever spoke was also looking at him. A half smile formed on his lips, nodding. The ball didn't seem to come to an end soon, but he had done everything there was to do so far. "Are you enjoying yourself? As for me, I think I've done pretty much everything there is to do already. Do I sound hard to please?" The deity laughed, taking a seat next to her. Her attire was dramatic, colorful, and randomly coherent, impossible to overlook.
