ib v2 | promise of reunion

Ib and Garry escape the Fabricated World together, and both regain their memories shortly after. They part on good terms, promising that they’ll meet again some day. Mary’s painting has been burned in this verse.

ib v3 | memory’s crannies

The same as v2, but neither Ib or Garry regain their memories after their escape from the Fabricated World. However, like in the main verse, Ib begins having nightmares about the Fabricated World. Mary’s painting has been burned in this verse.

ib v4 | all alone

Ib falls for the hallucination of her mother just before she and Garry escape. She ends up being killed by one of Guertena’s works, and is revived as a painting shortly thereafter, wandering the gallery alone. Mary’s painting has been burned in this verse. Garry escapes the gallery alive.

ib v4a | forgotten visitors

Ib falls for the hallucination of Garry just before she escapes the Fabricated World after his death. Like in v4 proper, she is killed and revived as a painting. However, in this verse, Garry is there too. Mary’s painting has been burned in this verse.

Anything that takes place within the canon events of Ib. Can lead up to the main verse or any of the other possible endings.

ib & mary v3 | world of guertena

Ib is unable to snap Garry out of his daze after failing the doll room, and opts to stay with him rather than leaving him there. Mary initially tries to convince her to leave, but after she refuses a few times, decides to stay with her newfound friend as well.

However, they can’t remain as humans in the Fabricated World. So Mary plucks their roses, killing them both and allowing them to be made into paintings just like her, forever binding them under the Fabricated World’s curse.

ib & mary v1a | the train

After their return from the second trip to the Fabricated World, Ib and Mary’s relationship remains strained. Ib refuses to talk with Mary unless they’re around their parents, where she keeps up an act to avoid them finding out the truth. This keeps up for months on end, despite concern from both their parents (who notice that something is wrong despite Ib’s attempts to fake it) and Garry.

Eventually things come to a head, and the two girls end up in a horrible fight in front of their parents, in which the truth is fully spilled. Furious at Mary and afraid of what will happen next now that their parents know about the gallery, Ib runs away. Worried for her sister and desperate to repair their relationship, Mary follows her.

Ib’s intention is to go back to the Fabricated World to hide, but she instead is blocked by a train, that beckons her to come inside. Relieved to have an escape, she boards the train. Mary, who was not far behind her, leaps aboard just before the train speeds off again.

The two find themselves not on a regular train, but in a world not unlike the Fabricated World, though it initially seems to be far more benign. Each of them has a glowing green number on their hand, and oddly enough, their numbers match.

Ib sets off to explore the train, with Mary at her heels whether she wants her or not. Still scared of what her parents might do, Ib decides that she would rather stay on the train than face them again. Mary, who has only just escaped one imprisonment, is the total opposite. But neither of them payed enough attention to One-One’s instructional video to know what the train’s true purpose was.

Based on the Together, Forever ending. Ib and Mary escape the Fabricated World, while Garry is left behind to take Mary's place. After leaving, Ib's memories are altered, and she entirely forgets her time in the Fabricated World. She believes that Mary is her sister, whom her family adopted when Ib was just a baby.

As the years pass, Ib begins to have odd nightmares. Unbeknownst to her, these nightmares are bits and pieces of repressed memories. Ib makes the connection that these nightmares started shortly after her family visited the art gallery, and unaware of her sister's involvement, tells Mary that she plans to go back there in hopes of figuring out the source of her nightmares.

Mary protests, and pleads for Ib not to go back. But this backfires on her, only making Ib even more interested in finding out the truth. So she sets off to return to the art gallery. Afraid of what her sister might find there, Mary chases after her. Ultimately, both girls end up transported back into the Fabricated World. Ib regains her lost memories, and is horrified and furious.

Ib leaves Mary and traverses through the Fabricated World on her own, and ultimately runs into Garry, who was brought back to life as a painting after his death. His presence calms her down, and she ultimately agrees to work together with Garry and Mary to find a way for all three of them to escape, even though she still keeps a resentment towards Mary.

They soon make the discovery that Mary is capable of manipulating the Fabricated World the same way her father was, and could potentially break the curse that binds Guertena's creations to that world. And after a great deal of experimentation, Mary finds a way to open the portal between the two worlds forever.

The three make an agreement that none of the other denizens of the Fabricated World should know what they had done, afraid that all of them escaping at once would cause mass chaos in the real world. Instead they escape together in silence, leaving the Fabricated World mostly as it was.
