Another fun Ko-fi request (I have very vague memories of playing this game on PS1 when I was a kid)
Please consider getting a sketch request for yourself on my Ko-fi, it would really help me out a lot.

Ā Ā Well back when that Medievil remake was announced for the PS4 I drew the gameās heroĀ Sir Daniel FortesqueĀ to celebrate.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Here we are nearly two years later and on the cusp of the gameās release,Ā Ā (at the time of this post) I decided to draw him again.Ā
Todayās Medievilās 21st anniversary, so I made a quick shadeless portrait of Sir Daniel Fortesque, the gameās protagonist. Last time I drew him properly was in⦠2004 I think? I was a kid back then, still a lot of time has passed! ;D Since the new remaster with him having the blue eye, i thought it was nice to make him have a grayish one with shades of blue in the pic as the symbol of his transition from his old design to the new one. Inktober Day 25: It Has Risen Again! Sir Daniel Fortesque!
Ā ITāS BACK BABY!!! (You guys dont understand, MediEvil was my LIFE back on the PS1)
The MediEvil remake has me super excited so here's The Count from MediEvil 2 //totally unexpected, I know//. Been meaning to draw more vampires for spooky month.
A doodle I did earlier of Sir Dan Fortesque!
I love this goofy skeleton too much.
Here he is!!!š
Sir Daniel Fortesqueš
I was going to get the game itself, but I was too busy making my Prince Sidon costume, but I'm nearly out of materials for the coat.
So, I'm going to take it easy on myself and draw couple of drawings and also lining up and coloring this hero.
Please enjoyš¤£
itās taking me a while to acclimatise to the fact that dan canonically looked like That when he was alive so in the meantime i decided to revamp my own dan design a bit! hadnāt really occured to be previously that dan had come from nobility (even though itās been said ingame he lived in the royal household) but given his situation that would make the most sense after all. as much i hate the idea that his father bought him into the guard and all he did with his position was be a skank : (
two versions bc danās eye colour has just about gone through the whole spectrum at this point. i prefer the dark/green eyed dans tbh

Your opinions on the remake?
I was really hyped when the MediEvil remake was announced but decided to not get too excited because of past disappointments regarding PS1 remakes. I did pre-order the digital game which came with the soundtrack, comic book, etc. but didnāt play it right away when it was released.
I had read reviews from both fans of the original game and people who had never played any of the MediEvil games, and for the most part the reviewers gave it an average to negative score. While giving positive feedback on the beautiful design (textures, character design, etc) and soundtrack, they criticized the controls and camera. So, I was a bit wary to start to play the game...
But turns out it was actually better than the reviews made it sound like. After finishing the game the other night, Iām still thinking if I was playing the same game they did.Ā
While I know it had some problems (the camera in The Crystal Caves was very awkward at times), I still think it improved the game in all aspects - not just the new textures. The gameplay is more fluid to my liking and moving the camera with the right analogue stick really helped. I also loved it that they made it possible to have a main and sub weapon to make the fighting - especially boss fights - easier. The Ant Queen was always annoying to fight against because it needed both melee and long range weapons, and going back and forth the inventory menu got really old really fast.
While I think the original game has its own charm with the unconventional zombie sounds, low-poly graphics and dark levels, this remake was really, really good. It was made by people who love the original and it really shows in the game. The attention to detail is great and the dynamic soundtrack really does this game justice. I think with a little bit more tinkering it couldāve been perfect, but despite its flaws, this game took me straight back to 1998 when I was enchanted and enamored with the grizzly yet cartoony world of Gallowmere.
But what do you think? Was this remake a disappointment or did you love it? What were your favorite changes and what you wouldāve done differently? Are you a fan of the old games or were you introduced to MediEvil by this remake? I really want to know what other fans think of the game.
Small crossover featuring the Scarecrow (āSir, You Are Being Huntedā) and Sir Dan Fortesque (āMedievilā) with some pumpkins in a rural setting. Iāve noticed the robot is jawless like Dan, so why not drawing them together? ;¬D Medievil Ā© SCE Cambridge Studios, Chris Sorrell SYABH Ā© Big Robot
Happy Halloween! :D I made this in celebration for the remake of one of my favourite childhood games, MediEvil. The remake is just the prettier version this game deserves and I love it!Ā (ļ¾āć®ā)ļ¾*:dļ¾ā§
iāll have to figure out how to draw skele dan again at some point..
