HE CAN READ it in the guildmaster’s face just how concerned he is about his own so-called ‘worry’ for him. His tongue knows only BITTERNESS, sheltered through possession long since welded through his skin and into his veins to run up through his mind. He is taken OVER by it all, consumed by the fierce hatred and longing for those things he thinks only he deserves ( gold and MONEY —— he’s known it his whole life; how can he not ? ). If it’s business Gallus desires, then it’s business he’ll receive —— he’s NOT a man to keep anyone waiting. And with a click of the tongue, he takes the first step down, reaches not for Gallus’ hand, but for the HILT of his sword.

DANGER PRESENTED TO the Guild must be GREAT. He allows no OTHER emotion, no OTHER feeling than CONCERN to fill him--mentally stomping out the flames of a fire that burns BRIGHT--the fire of his own SOUL.
