Sorry about my abscess I've been all over lately, but this is not really a return! This is an update that will be almost daily as I'm starting to write my first ever movie script, the goal is to get it popular enough that I get noticed by a studio and maybe just maybe it gets made.

Today is day 1!

Figuring out names and relationship dynamics, along with figuring out the specific gender for the characters (it's harder than I thought there are so many conflicting ideas in my head)

Ironing out the plot along with mentally envisioning this happening in a film.

So far I have already cast (in my mind) Maya Hawke as the lead.... This is totally gonna fuck with me the entire time

here are a few of my headcanons:

Max would be fooling around

Lucas would genuinely be scared

Dustin would be the one to actually try figuring their way out

Jane would get reminded of the lab and have a panic attack

Will would try to keep everyone calm but would eventually panic too

Mike would start saying nerdy shit to try keeping himself and everyone else calm but Max would just snap at him

What if the fruity 5 (Steve, Robin, Nancy, Eddie, Jonathan) were stuck there too but like farther away and either they get close to reuniting with the party or they just miss them.

Steve would obviously be like overprotective because this isn't the upsidedown this is different and he's scared someone is gonna die which leads him to snapping at people a bit harshly but only because he's terrified, plus the blank setting gives him Russian torture flashbacks.

Robin would be terrified but also very curious as the backrooms are weird and funky and if they're taking things from Hawkins she'd probably find things she knows and look at how weird they look now, she's also very close to Nancy the whole time as again she's terrified.

Eddie would just be saying "Jesus H CHRIST!" The entire time because man he thought he was done with freaky paranormal shit, he just wants to pine for Steve and live his life.

Jonathan I feel would be so done with the bullshit he settles his beef with Steve in favor of helping him lead and get the fuck out of there.

Also y'know this leads to some Scooby doo shenanigans where they split up and look for clues, Eddie goes with Steve Nancy and Robin split off and Jonathan goes with them and yeah Steddie and Ronance happen!!!! In the end I feel like Dr owens Hopper and Joyce just bust in kill the demogorgon/Vecna/mindflayer amalgamation that has been hunting them

And everyone lives!!!

FOREST She'd been so busy admiring all the trees, collecting all of the little things she loved about Robin, that she'd missed the forest, she'd failed to notice that she was in love with her. But now it was too late, now Nancy would never get to tell her how she felt.

SUMMER "This is our last summer before our real lives start," Nancy groaned, pulling at Robin's arm as the other woman flopped down on the bed, effectively turning herself into an immovable object. "I'm not gonna let you waste it pining over your ex-girlfriend."

CUDDLE Robin and Vickie are cuddled up on the couch, whispering sweet nothings to each other, or that's what Nancy assumes they're doing it. It's so saccharine, it makes her sick. Get a room, she thinks as Robin nuzzles into the redhead's neck. Public displays of affection have always weirded her out so why does she wish it was her neck Robin's lips were ghosting over?

YELLOW Robin swiped her finger through the frosting, revealing the yellow cake underneath. Yellow with chocolate frosting, her favorite, but how did Nancy know that? she wondered to herself as she brought the chocolate to her lips, sucking it off slowly.

BAKING The vinyl straps of the lounge chair clung to her back and thighs as Nancy pulled herself free, sitting up to survey the others. The day was hot but Robin looked hotter, as she baked in the summer sun. Nancy couldn't help but imagine slipping her hand into the borrowed banana yellow swim trunks that clung to her hips, still wet from her dip in the pool moments earlier.

BOAT They were all in the same boat, metaphorically speaking at least. All of them had survived the Upside Down, all of them should be traumatized, so why did it feel like Robin was the only one who couldn't find her footing, who still only had her sea legs?

HALLOWEEN "That's your Halloween costume?" Robin inquires with a raised eyebrow as her eyes pan up and down Nancy's now distinctively pink and white frame. "Well yeah, I kept it after sneaking into the hospital so I figure, use what you've got."

SKY (fun fact! there was a geomagnetic storm in 1989 that caused Auroras to be visible as far south as Texas) Green and purple filled the night sky, illuminating what should have been a pitch black field on the outskirts of Hawkins. The blanket Nancy had brought was itchy, the woolen fibers scratching at the nape of Robin's neck but she barely noticed. Her mind was too preoccupied, her eyes fixed on her girlfriend as she squeezed the other woman's hand tight.

PADDLE Each sweep of the paddle brush through Nancy's curls made a satisfying swoosh, a sound that tickled the back of Robin's brain, making her almost coo with elation. Was it weird to want to be an inanimate object? Just for a little while, long enough to memorize the smell of Nancy's shampoo, to feel the each strand of hair rush through her bristles, to have Nancy's hand grip tightly around her, Robin wondered to herself, her eyes fixed on the other girl who finally asked, "does my hair look okay?"

SINGING From the sound booth, Nancy could hear the faint sound of singing as Robin shimmied her shoulders back and forth. All the kids in the marketplace say (Way-oh, way-oh, ooh-way-oh-way-oh) Walk like an Egyptian It wasn't until the chorus hit that the other girl noticed her, her face lighting up in recognition as she placed one hand in front of her chin and the other behind her butt, moving them back and forth in time with the music. Nancy couldn't help but giggle as she followed Robin's lead and they danced on opposite sides of the glass from one another.

This was interesting to do. Since I basically publish as I go, these were all from scratch.

Ohhhhhh you absolute devil! There's so many good ideas here but some of them seem... Spicy??? Maybe I have a dirty mind.... Anyways let's fucking go!

GRIND

Steve had to give it to Eddie, through trial and error and the grind of physical therapy, Eddie was finally able to play his guitar again. Steve discovered this as soon as he woke up, the harsh tone of the amp came from the living room as Eddie laughed and yelled

"MASTER OF PUPPETS!!!!" and the house was filled with the metallic riff that almost got him killed.

REWARD

There wasn't enough time, Max knew Vecna wasn't just about to give her up, she wasn't that lucky. She grabbed her skateboard and her walkman and began to rush out the door, she only stopped when she physically couldn't move, El was standing behind he holding he hand back like she was trying to pull Max back, and the look on her face told Max that this risk just wasn't worth the reward.

INCIDENT

The kids screwed up, or In the parents way of saying, there had been an incident. They had decided that Robin and Steve needed to get together because of their chemistry, but they had no clue that both of them were in very serious and very committed relationships. Nancy heard their plan and had to keep her mouth shut, Eddie who overheard them talking and also kept his mouth shut. Not because they wanted it to happen, but because if they did say something, the whole thing would be blown up in smoke.

THIGH

Robin was in heaven, or like the closest thing that came to it without dying and believing in Jesus. Nancy Wheeler was asleep in her bed in only an oversized T-shirt. Robin had dreamed of scenarios like this since she knew she liked girls, and as Nancy rolled over Robin looked down to see Nancy's thigh brushing against hers, and if Robin was a vampire she'd have sunk her teeth into it, but what's stopping her?

GREEN

The sky was perfect, some clouds for shade but the sun was out and keeping the temp to a nice 74, everyone was out for a cookout and then sleeping outside on the fresh green that had grown after the upsidedown had returned to its own dimension. Steve and Hopper argued on who was cooking, Eddie supplied the music and everyone else enjoyed Steve's pool, minus Nancy and Robin who snuck off to make out in the woods. El used her powers to dunk everyone into the pool, Jonathan brought his camera to add onto their "found family" photo album.

And that's about it! All of these were ones I just came up with maybe I'll run with one of them maybe I won't!

I think Eddie would randomly play guitar riffs that describe Steve's mood, walk with me here. After they get together Eddie gently introduces Steve to Rock and Metal and it goes well! Toooooo well because now he can't stop playing riffs.

Example! When Steve is angry Eddie (from a safe distance) starts to play Angry Again by Megadeth.

When Steve is feeling destructive (usually influenced by Max) he plays T.NT. by AC/DC

When Steve is bored he'll play Bored by Death Angel

You get it? Anyways after a while Steve catches on and one particularly angry day Steve just yells

"Yes I'm angry again and I swear to God if you don't come in here and play in front of me I'm never wearing eyeliner again!"

Needless to say Eddie gave Steve a "special" performance

Old West au where Nancy is the sheriff (walk with me) and Robin is the local doctor who honestly just stitches people up and tries her best to fix whatever broke (plus her practice is in the same building as the sheriff's office so she gets to talk to Nancy) Steve is the son of the the local Cattleman who really fucking hates his life and wants to be on a ranch doing the grunt work (plus he babysits the local kids and teaches them to hunt) Johnathan is a "I'll do anything for money" kind of guy and usually just bartends. Eddie is the local loveable outlaw that only steals from the rich (this is how he and Steve secretly hook up) story would go where a big bad new mayor (Henry Creel) has taken control of Hawkins and starts to drain the town of all its worth, Nancy and Eddie form an alliance that brings everyone together (as their friends want to help) to take down the corruption.

This is just a old West fic idea with romantic subplots that may or may not be major focuses

Alright now this is something i can do!

Robin and Nancy had been planning this for months, a road trip to North Dakota to go camping and then go see Blondie live. It was the perfect plan, Nancy had everything mapped out perfectly and there was nothing that could go wrong. Until Robin forgot to fill up the car with gas, so they ended up at a gas station in Illinois. Robin was rambling apologies left and right but Nancy just smiled and shook her head. After their pit stop they decided to take a scenic route, sure it took longer but Nancy felt daring. They ended up by a waterfall, Nancy parked the car and dragged Robin towards the water.

"uh Nancy what are we doing?" Robin questioned. Nancy smiled and told Robin to wait there. She quickly made her way back to the car and changed into a swim suit she brought and grabbed a matching one she bought for Robin. She ran back and tossed the suit to Robin as she ran by and dived into the water. She must have gotten Robin wet as she heard a shriek.

"oh my god Nancy you're such a daredevil!" Robin said with glee. Nancy just shrugged with a sly grin.

"Well are you gonna join me or not?" Nancy said mischievously. Robin rolled her eyes and went back to the car. Nancy began to swim around and relax a bit. That only lasted a few moments as Robin jumped in and abruptly joined her.

"who's the daredevil now Buckley?" Nancy said sarcastically.

"still you Ms. I have guns plural In my closet." Robin stated.

"Hey Eddie said that not me." Nancy said in a fake hurt tone.

"true but that got me thinking, what else are you hiding Wheeler?" Robin asked jokingly. Nancy's face went red, she had been looking for an opportunity to be alone with Robin and now Robin had just asked her if she was hiding anything else, Nancy considering saying she was hiding her feelings for Robin but something pulled her heart towards something more physically. She didn't even realize it but she was getting closer to Robin and on instinct she leaned in closer to her.

"I was hiding this." Nancy said softly before kissing Robin. Robin's body went tense which made her begin to sink but Nancy wrapped her right arm around Robin's waist and pulled her closer, Robin's body relaxed and she leaned to return the kiss. They floated there for a moment, their lives finally connecting in a way that didn't involve their lives on the line. Nancy pulled away after a few more moments.

"And now you know everything." Nancy said sweetly.

"y-yeah." Robin said with shock. Nancy heard her tone and thought that Robin didn't like what happened, her face went red again but this time with embarrassment, she started to make her way back to the shore but Robin grabbed ahold of her before she could make it out of the water.

"Where are you going?" Robin questioned. Nancy couldn't really speak, she was holding back tears and she didn't want to sound like a baby in front of Robin.

"J-just back to the car, figured we were done here and should get back to the road or just call the whole thing off and go home." Nancy tried her best not to sound hurt but damnit she was so happy and the sudden realization that Robin potentially didn't like that had sent her into a spiral of emotions.

"Cancel? No way! We are not going home and we're not done here." Robin said spinning Nancy around and pulling her into a kiss of her own, this time they both were relaxed and let each other explore their lips, they held onto each other as their love blossomed from the seed planted back when they first met. Nancy once again was the first to pull away with small tears jn her eyes.

"I thought you didn't like my kiss, so I figured we should just go home." Nancy said quietly.

"no no I'm sorry my tone is never right, I loved to kiss I was just shocked that you, Nancy Wheeler kissed me of all people." Robin said with a Small laugh.

"Who else would I kiss?" Nancy questioned. Robin laughed uncomfortably before she spoke

"well I figured you were straight still, so y'know a boy" Robin said as she rubbed the back of her neck. Nancy shook her head.

"Oh I am so done with boys, you're the only person I want Robin, you make me happy and I want to make you happy." Nancy said holding Robins hands.

"Well then I guess it's confession time. I love you Nancy, I've had this highschool crush on you for like ever, I tried to get over it but there's no getting over Nancy Wheeler." Robin admitted.

"I love you too Robin, I have since the creel house, because I knew, there was no way of ignoring Robin Buckley." Nancy confessed.

They both left the water and continued their trip eventually getting to North Dakota and sleeping in the same sleeping bag, holding each other until they drifted off to sleep

Robin didn't know why Steve was mopey, she knew something happened. So on their shared break she poked Steve into telling her what's wrong?

"it's nothing I'm fine." Steve mumbled.

"fine my ass! You're moping you're not cracking dumb jokes! Hell you're not even hitting on anyone but you haven't done that since...." Robin began to say before something finally clicked.

"Robin?" Steve said with a look of confusion. Robin didn't respond immediately as she continued to try and process what she'd just figured out. Steve hasn't hit on anyone since everything happened with Eddie, and after Eddie was rushed to the hospital Steve never left his side.

"Hello!? Robin?? Earth to birdie!" Steve snapped with worry.

"What did he do??" Robin asked.

"who?" Steve questioned

"Eddie! What did Eddie do!?" Robin asked. Steve seemed to shut down as she said his name. This began to make Robin more worried.

"He didn't do anything." Steve said with sorrow. Robin sat there staring at him.

"Steve, he must have done something to make you so upset that mentioning his name makes you look dead." Robin stated.

"Robin he didn't do anything." Steve said defensively.

"Why are you lying? I thought we were open with each other since we both admitted stuff in that bathroom." Robin stressed.

"He doesn't like me!!! Ok!? He doesn't like me and i thought he did." Steve snapped throwing his hands in the air walking off back to punch back in. Robin runs back barely punching herself in.

"Wait wait wait, you're telling me you like Eddie?" Robin continued to press.

"I liked Eddie, now I'm just... Yeah." Steve sulked.

"ok so how do you know he doesn't like you? Did he just come out and say 'hey sorry dude I don't like you like that!' or like?" Robin began to ramble.

"if I tell you will you leave me alone?" Steve said with exasperation.

"For at least the rest of the day." Robin promised. Steve sighed and rolled his eyes.

"last week when we were hanging out at my place he came up to me and said something about my crush not liking me or something i don't know he seemed nervous because he pulled me away from you or something. Either way that's how I know and I've just been wanting to not think about that." Steve said with a sigh.

"Wait he told you that when we were hanging out? Specifically me and you?" Robin asked

"I thought you weren't gonna bother me?" Steve asked grabbing the bridge of his nose.

"This is important!" Robin semi yells.

"ok ok yes when me and you were hanging out!" Steve semi yelled back. This confirms what Robin had begun thinking. She quickly jumps across the counter and tells Steve that she'd be back in a bit. Robin rode her bike straight to Eddie's trailer and pounded on his door.

"Jesus H CHRIST! What!?" Eddie yelled as he swung open the door not knowing it was Robin.

"Hi we need to talk!" Robin said barging in.

"Uhhhh sure? What uh- what about??" Eddie said hesitantly.

"You and Steve." Robin said casually.

"Me and... Wait what!?" Eddie asked confused.

"Hello? Hello? Think Munson think!" Robin said knocking her hand against Eddie's skull doing her best Biff Tannen impression, Eddie swatted her hand away.

"I'm thinking but I don't know what you're talking about!" Eddie said with frustration.

"He likes you! And you went and told him his crush doesn't like him!" Robin said crossing her arms.

"Well yeah? You're a lesbian it's pretty obvious Steve likes you so I figured I'd help out....WAIT STEVE LIKES ME!?!?!" Eddie said as he finally processed what Robin said.

"Yes you Dingus! He doesn't like me! Platonic with a capital P! We cannot be separated but nothing romantic is happening between us!" Robin said with some glee.

Eddie just stood there a blank look on his face with his eyes growing wider, he dashed to his room with multiple shits being said as he tumbled around the house.

"Eddie what are you doing???" Robin questioned.

"I'm going to fix the massive fuck up that I've caused once again!" Eddie said running out the door. Robin also ran out before Eddie took off so she could get a ride back to the store. They arrived and Steve looked up from the magazine he was reading with a confused look. Eddie burst through the door and dropped to his knees right in front of Steve babbling about how stupid he was. Steve looked up to Robin with a small smile and mouthed "what is happening?"

Robin mouthed back "he's asking you out".

Eddie began to speak more clearly

"I had no fucking clue that you two were like best friend, I thought you liked her and stuff and I just wanted to y'know help because I had no idea you knew about her and stuff and now I feel like a huge idiot." Eddie rambled.

"yeah you kinda are a huge idiot." Steve said with a smile.

"Hey! I'm trying!" Eddie said with a pout.

"Yeah I know, it's just cute when you pout." Steve admitted. Eddie's brain seemed to click at that comment.

"OH YEAH! uh so she kinda told me, and uh I was wondering if you would want to like....go out and do something?" Eddie asked nervously.

"I don't know, i'd have to ask my girl friend if it's ok." Steve said with a sly grin. Eddie's face dropped.

Robbin caught the bit and decided to play into it.

"oh I suppose it's ok your off the hook for this one but you can't leave me alone too much I might go snooping." Robin joked. Eddie's face lifted at that and he rose from the floor dusting off his jeans.

"I'm never living that down am I?" Eddie asked.

"Nope, but you can make it up to me tonight." Steve said slyly. Eddie smiled at that as he walked out the door. As soon as he was outside a loud yes came from Eddie as he ran to his van.

"Soooooo you happy now?" Robin asked.

"I hate you." Steve said jokingly.

"How dare you? I just got you an apology and a boyfriend!" Robin said shoving Steve playfully.

"True.... Fine I'm happy." Steve admitted

"Good because I'm never doing that again." Robin said with a smile knowing she had her own issue to figure out next.

(sorry if this is not as good as I said it would be or made it look to be but I love the concept and wanted to put my own spin on it!)
