GET OUT ME SWAMP
Around here we pledge allegiance to the flag:
"Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play
Hey now, you're a rock star, get the show on, get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold"

At first glance your boy looks a lot like my little stag lol.
My stag is a toppy/silver duckwing old english game mix
I would love a silver duckwing modern game, it's a beautiful color :)
This guy is one of my favorite silver duckwing birds I have; I love the long legged birds you have! Is the difference the fact that they are bantams?
(not my picture, photo for reference)
Nope, the large fowl modern game existed first! In the 1800s when cockfighting was outlawed in England, keepers had all these game birds they didn't know what to do with. Folks started selecting English game for exaggerated length & docile temperaments so they could be used for exhibition. This resulted in the split of what are now old English game and modern game.
Aahh I see! Thank you very much for the information; I always do really enjoy learning about breeds and history. Gamecocks are some amazing animals!
Side note- I am attaching a photo of one of my pullets; what do you think she is?
If any of my chickens (or other pets) get a heart attack from the (illegal) fireworks, I will hunt the fucker down and release my aggressive rooster upon them (he goes for the eyes <3)
We brought your rooster some back up
Extend
What a darling sleeping Laffy
In that ball of lint stage
Keep raising roos you're doing a swell job :)
Well thank you! This made my day.
I'll continue to post pictures, we have around 50 roosters at our farm!! All taken care of tediously- though I enjoy or quite a bit (:

Anyone else do any scrapping? I absolutely love it and it's a lifesaver during hard times when cash is hard to come by.
Forget parrots and peacocks- when it comes to stunningly vibrant feathers I will vote ROOSTERS every time! Just wow.
The thing chickens do with their feathers when they are cold looks like the equivalent of a cat 'loafing' lol- a rooster loaf
Such pretty ear lobes
2nd buck this year- very happy with how this year turned out as far as hunting goes.
Look at this beautiful boy! He's the only 'black' rooster on our farm, from far away he looks all black but close up he's got all sorts of colors.
