I don't know why I made an account on here, this place is some awful ONISMesque parody of social communications, except it's actually a real site which almost makes it embarrassingly worse. It's literally the digital equivalent of creating a stupid strawman only for someone to proudly go 'Yes, that's me!'

that's... it's important why they're here, it's not just a matter of comfort. They have nowhere else to go, they aren't like me, they still share a collective soul each and far be it for me to cast them out to whatever fate shall find them, likely death in the midterm of things.

Of course, you're welcome to visit but I'm wary of keeping too many people in my own head. I haven't had any terrible issues so far but I imagine the long term effects show over time, like eroding tooth enamel.

sometimes when people like me exist in certain spaces some confusion arises, memories of me can implant themselves in the wrong people's heads to justify my presence in a world that already has an Alex. That's the weird thing about by-passing becoming a soul survivor, you split off from the collective and become a bespoke entity but you're still you, your memories and experiences as a collective soul don't just go away. (it also stops me from properly transcribing my own name for some reason?)

essentially, people think I'm their buddy or their daughter sometimes even if we're never met because otherwise when their brain recognizes me it creates a pretty nasty paradox-type situation which can threaten the integrity of the layman's perception of singular reality.

Not sure why she mistook you for me though, could be a weird mix of side effects from public perception, the collective soul and the phenomenon explained above. But that is a little funny, in a weird way.

...yeah, you're probably right. I have a habit of getting all bitter about stuff, I've tried kicking it but I think I should just try being nicer to myself. It's easy to forget about stuff like that when you're in so many different places where no one really recognises you or knows you and you feel... Adrift, I guess? But I'm a person, I deserve to go easy on myself sometimes

Oh, yikes... I mean that sounds rude, I don't mean much by it. Mine's still a real horror show, even after all the cleaning up I do- I just keep finding more stuff, granted it's big, I think it's like that for a number of reasons which makes it harder to manage. That and housing other people which probably isn't great for me long term but they need somewhere to go while I'm helping them, I can't just leave them to die, I'm a good person, they need my help. I couldn't help them in my plane of existence it's the least I can do now right? I couldn't help the one person I wanted to in the first place, god knows if any of us can and I do mean the royal 'us' as in me in every other world, even if I'm not really apart of it anymore for convenience reasons...

And there I go making this about me, maybe I never really changed at all. Not since college. If you're really worried about the whole mind dungeon thing I'd take a step back about it and look for the root cause, probably stress, stress is a big one.

I actually lost a lot of my games when I dipped, kinda hard to grab 'em when you're more concerned with the end of the world. I still have some but since I keep them in the mind dungeon mostly it's hard to tell how many of them are the real deal and not nostalgic figments of my imagination.

Except the Batman Forever game, that one's definitely real, it disappoints me every time. Pretty sure I only grabbed it because it was top of the pile and uh... my mom got it for me so
