#NOIRDININGINTHEDARK X #EATWITHGANDA If you only have a day and only a place to eat when you are in Ho Chi Minh, go to Noir! I came across this unique restaurant with such interesting concept on tripadvisor and wondered if it was actually that good or just a hype. Nonetheless, I sent the link to my #VietnamSquad and surprisingly everyone was excited! So we went on the night itself, not knowing exactly what sort of experience we are after. (We did look at their website for some clues but trust me, these people are really good with keeping their secret) At first it looked like a tourist trap with barely or actually no local patrons seen anywhere around, but the tranquil and cozy ambiance just helped you to relax, and prepare you to experience something that you had never experienced before Dining in the Dark allowed us to appreciate foods better using other senses but visual. I truly appreciate this moment as it was that one moment I actually couldn't see how my foods look like, and how I am going to photograph them etc. It was also the very first time I sat on the table where nobody had their hands on their phone. It was that perfect dining situation.. Just without the light The visually impaired staffs did amazing job hosting us and accommodate to all our needs. It is true when they said when one sense is not being used, all the other senses get stronger, we could smell foods even before they reached our table, the concept of distance is distorted and man, our tastebuds definitely taste things better than we usually do. You could actually pick up the different textures of the different components of the foods etc 11 degustation dishes later, I still felt like I want more! Now, stop reading, go and book yourself a table and thank me later! #bestdiningexperience #dininginthedark #noir #GGeat #gggoestohochiminh #hochiminh #vietnam (at Noir Dining in the Dark)
