Austin Powell - a dangerous, charismatic prison gang leader who runs a drug and weapons trafficking operation known as the Jade Coil. His favorite hobbies include fighting, ensuring he stays top dog, and keeping around “pets” for his own sick enjoyment.

Rules

I require my roleplay partners to be 21+ years old. Writing with anyone younger just feels odd at this point.

Consent is a big deal for me. I expect darker themes to be brought up, but ultimately, shipped characters should be in mutual agreement regarding any actual romantic feelings.

I play any of my OCs that I have listed so far. I have dozens more, though it’s been a while since I’ve used most of them. I’ll be updating my list in the near future as I create bios for the ones I use the most.

Smut and kink is allowed, as is romance, but it shouldn’t be subservient to chemistry. I’m completely down for darker elements as long as they serve the plot.

I prefer masculine, “realistic” characters. Think old school Harrison Ford, Viggo Mortensen, Boyd Holbrook - guys who have a “lived in” look.

Please don’t use AI to write responses. I don’t even mind AI faceclaims. I don’t use them, but my main thing is AI generated characters and actual roleplay material. Booooo. Do better.

CSA/MAP content is a big no-no. I’m an adult interested in adults. I don’t mind if it’s in the backstory or something, but I’d rather avoid explicit stuff involving that.

Austin’s world had presumably shrunk the moment the transport bus rolled through those gates - and yet, even as his world threatened to become even smaller, all he could feel was the sweet adrenaline pumping through his blood, pressed forward and on by the rhythmic, relentless beating of his heart. His heart. He forgot that he had one.

Scars taught more than tattoos anyhow. That’s what he’d learned when he was a kid. Back on his the old Fisher bicycle, wobbling down the streets of South-East Detroit. Those days were long over. Gone was the boy, replaced by a man. Then again, the man was replaced by a monster. Was he even human? That’s what he wanted his enemies to ask. That’s why he knelt - the leader of the Jade Coil, a king meant for chains. He knelt in front of the younger man’s body, not out of joy or of fear or of spite. Instead, he knelt out of pride. The king of the serpents had secured his dynasty once again.

If it took entrails and loose teeth and stab wounds like Swiss, then so be it - Austin would prove himself top dog. There were no regrets. Not even as they hauled him off to solitary. The shackles were jewelry; the battle scars, war paint. The next man to cross him would end up his bitch - he would make sure of that. For now, the serpent would wait again - for the next deal. For the next fight. For the next shipment. His kingdom would last long enough without him. Solitary was his hole, these days. It would only be a matter of time before he’d slither out, clothes smelling of weed and prison hooch.

And once he did? Hell would break loose. He’d sink his fangs into another victim - and this time, he’d never let go.

What mop to use when getting fresh brain matter off the floor. He’d fired a gun. Made a few kill’s himself. Cash wasn’t the issue, nor was the pulling the trigger. The stains on his soul wouldn’t come out, however - an his hand, at least in his mind, were permanently stained red. It’s why he wore gloves and a mask.

Settling down wasn’t really an option. He’d tried to leave the industry before. He knew too much. Too many dark secrets, sitting at the bottom of Lake Tahoe. He saw their melted faces in his dreams - the flesh bubbling away into mush as the muscle pulled away from the sinew, dissolving into blood-soaked pulp. It was almost as bad as firing the machine. Almost.

As for the smell? It never went away. He kept a change of clothes in his car for a reason. As long as the scent of burnt plastic and charred leather clung to his form, he’d keep on drinking. That was the price to be paid. There’s no going back. Not after what he’d done. What he’d keep doing to survive. His sins couldn’t wash down the drain with his puke. He’d atone in hell. Someday, with the others. Buried beneath several layers of concrete. Down with his victims.

He doesn’t think so. The only path ahead is to keep on surviving. Scrub, rinse, repeat. He’d come forward eventually. Long after he’d dealt with his mess. Or messes. The men he worked for wouldn’t be easy to turn in. Some problems never have a legal answer, nor an ethical one. Linc learns that a long time ago. The list is long. The chores await.

And has a lot of work to do.

Raised by devout Lutheran parents and sent to a private Christian school, Michael was raised in what seemed a typical, middle class American upbringing. Behind the scenes, he was relentlessly bullied for being different. He could always see “angels”. At least, that’s what he called them. They rarely spoke. When they did, it rarely made sense. It was still a calling, however - something he couldn’t ignore, even as his encounters grew darker during his early adulthood.

By the time he’d reached middle age, he’d known of the Prophecies for many years. The nightmares and visions grew stronger with each passing day. Despite having excelled in math, to the point of becoming a well-respected university teacher, the call of something greater always echoed in the distance. The Hive was forming. It’d been forming since the beginning of the Second Age. And with it, her armies. Factories, hidden deep below the planet’s surface. Her drones knew he could spot them. Biomechanical angels, the Voice told him. Fallen by definition. Warped beyond comprehension. Like golden hornets, guarding their Queen’s nest down below, waiting to strike. Waiting to bring forth the Third Age; the Apocalypse.

He’s the Last Apostle. He knows that, now. The last hope for humanity - but how corrupted is that hope? After all, he’s one of them. The metal inside of him makes him one of them. He must purge and atone from it. He must lead the charge against the technology plaguing the earth - the technology he once loved and developed. Its sole goal is humanity’s destruction. All he can hope for is divine intervention.

The Hive calls…and so does its Queen.

Author’s Note: Michael struggles with paranoid schizophrenia, which I researched beforehand while writing his character. I first started developing him in 2022, so not everything is accurate, but I tried my best to write from an accurate standpoint, using peer-reviewed articles and resources in order to represent the condition respectfully.

Still, the woods reminded Fleet of home - a home that had never been built in his interest. A home that had tried to stamp out his rebellious streak and create the perfect solider. A home in which his family had been brutally pulled open, studied, and reverse engineered to create even more “creatures” to serve the government’s purposes. The thought always made him laugh, once he grew up. Perhaps it was coping - or maybe it was the fact that he knew no algorithm or cloning machine could ever replicate what he and his dad possessed. The animal inside of Fleet was real - and its existence would never be tamed.

It didn’t take long for David to notice the ache in his stomach. His limbs felt heavy and his raw throat felt slick - as if all of his sinuses had drained into his core. It could’t be a cold - he his nose was clear, and he could breathe just fine.

The only thing that felt stifling was the straight jacket tightly wrapped around his arms. Something was wrong - and wasn’t just the padded cell he’d been thrown in or the flecks blood he found on his trousers.

As the gut wrenching feeling of something wriggling up through his gut slowly enveloped his senses, a singular black tentacle forced its way out of his mouth.

His senses were right. The memory loss since his trip wasn’t just a coincidence. There was a new creature inside of David, and he had no way of possibly getting it out.

Initially, his victims from his free time were women. He considered them more entertaining targets than the men he killed for work - easier to spook and less likely to be hiding an illegal firearm. Once the thrill of stalking his targets wore off, however, he moved to better pastures.

Unapologetic. It brought him such great fun.

Unfortunately, all good things have to end - these damned American officers are on to him, too. It’s only a matter of time before they track him down, sending him back to another cage. Part of him romanticizes the thought. Perhaps then, his talents can be put to good use. He knows he’s hell bound. He doesn’t know why God made him the way he is. All he knows is his talent is killing - and behind bars, there’s never a lack of dirtbags who don’t deserve being gutted…

Maybe it ran in the family? He barely talked, after all. If he was innocent, he’d say something. No one just took a lead pipe to a woman’s skull like that. No one except a brute with a family history. And once shaved and showered, Kyle fit the looks of a brute who never understood society or its consequences. More than enough, at least. That’s just how justice worked, here…right?
