There's this girl I like. But I'm going to move on.
Joan Collins, Debbie Reynolds, Shirley MacLaine, Elizabeth Taylor, and Peter Graves in moments from the What a Life finale number in the ABC/Matthew Diamond TV movie These Old Broads, originally broadcast on February 12th, 2001. Written by Carrie Fisher and Elaine Pope, the movie was loosely based on the lives and Hollywood experiences of Joan, Debbie, Shirley and Elizabeth with references to their own intertwined love lives, past feuds, and struggles to keep working as they encountered ageism. Joan was 66 at the time, Debbie was 68, Shirley was 65, and Elizabeth was 69. The glamorous gowns for the film were designed by Nolan Miller and Mark Zunino. It's of interest to note that this was Elizabeth Taylor's final acting performance prior to her passing ten years later in 2011.
