It occurred to me that folks who reblogged that last post might find it more useful to have a list of all Google Fonts that support small-caps glyph substitution regardless of whether they assign those glyphs to Unicode code points (i.e., because needing to explicitly select a specific small-caps glyph isn’t going to come up 90% of the time), so I put together a list of the latter as well.
Two notes:
1. I have not closely examined most of the fonts on this list. The only qualifiers are that a. it’s released under an open license, and b. small-caps glyphs of some description actually appear when the “smcp” OpenType feature is enabled. I make no promises that their small-caps glyphs don’t suck.
2. The greater part of these fonts do not assign their small-caps glyphs to Unicode code points, so there’s no way to explicitly select a particular small-caps glyph. Like I noted above, this isn’t going to come up 90% of the time, but if it does, don’t say I didn’t warn you!
The list:
Alegreya (and its Sans versions)
Alumni Sans
Andada Pro
Andika*
Anton
Arsenal
Barlow (and its Condensed and Semi Condensed versions)
Baskervville
Big Shoulders (and its many display versions, omitted for brevity)
Bitter
Bodoni Moda
Bona Nova
Brygada 1918
Cardo*
Castoro
Chau Philomene One
EB Garamond*
Encode Sans (and its many condensed and expanded versions, omitted for brevity)
Epilogue
Exo
Fanwood Text (only the regular variant, not the italic)
Fira Sans (and its Condensed and Extra Condensed versions)
Georama
GFS Didot
GFS Neohellenic
Hahmlet
Hepta Slab
Ibarra Real Nova
Imbue
Istok Web
Italianno
Kufam
Lekton (only regular and bold; italic variant lacks support)
Linden Hill (only the regular variant, not the italic)
Literata
Merriweather Sans
Miriam Libre
Monda
Montserrat
Mukta (and its Mahee, Malar and Vaani versions)
Neuton
Orbitron
Petrona
Piazzolla
Play
Playfair Display
Poly (only the regular variant, not the italic)
Questrial
Raleway (and its Dots version)
Roboto (and its Condensed, Mono and Slab versions)
Signika
Sorts Mill Goudy (only the regular variant, not the italic)
Source Sans Pro (and its Serif counterpart)
Spectral
STIX Two Text
Trispace
Varela
Vollkorn
Work Sans
Zilla Slab (and its Highlight version)
* These fonts support explicit selection of specific small-caps glyphs by using the relevant Unicode code points in addition to automatic glyph substitution
I’m also going to include a few amusing oddities I encountered while putting the list together:
Benne – Small-caps glyphs are simply a full second copy of the lowercase glyphs
Corben – Reports that the bold variant has small-caps support, while the regular-weight version does not; the bold small-caps appear to be scaled down versions of the regular capital glyphs
Crimson Text – Only the non-bold italic variant reports small-caps support, while all other variants do not; possibly mis-tagged?
Doppio One – Enabling small-caps glyph substitution inexplicably transforms every character into a pencil emoji
Habibi – Enabling small-caps glyph substitution causes all lowercase characters to vanish entirely
Jura – Only the vowels have small-caps glyphs; I’m not sure what the intended application for this is
Patrick Hand – Whoever assembled this one appears to have had a slightly eccentric understanding of what “small caps” means; enabling small-caps glyph substitution replaces the capital letters with small-caps, while leaving the lowercase letters untouched!
All Star Battle stages (PS3) featuring those Gauguin-inspired colors - “pink ground and blue trees” - that Araki built the Jojo palette around.

HI PLEASEE READ! I HAVE SOMETHING REALLY COOL AND IMPORTANT TO TELL YOU AND I ASK YOU TO PLEASE READ THE REST OF THEIS POST <3
so do you see the image above? well if your looking at my blog you've probably seen it ALL OVER weirdcore/oddcore/liminal space/ nursecore tumblr. And I was SO desperate to find out where it was taken. The image was just to intriguing to not find out where it came from. And guys. I think I found where it was taken!
According to my research this image was taken at the Rolling Hills Asylum. This picture was posted to trip advisor by a man and his wife who enjoyed their visit at the Asylum.
HOWEVER this is actually not the original picture here's the original picture:
It seems that the other image might have been altered with a color changing photo editing tool of some sort.
Rolling Hills Asylum is located in East Bethany New York and has quite a rich history! The asylum is even rumored to have paranormal activity!
however I don't think I could do it justice. So I've linked the official website the history page of the official website, and the trip advisor review containing the image. Anyways just wanted to share this!
here's the links you will have to copy paste them in the search bar i might post the actual links later in a separate post:
